Cyber Rebellion Beginners Guide and Tips
Cyber Uprising” or “Rise of Cyberspace” is a leisurely role-playing game (RPG) developed by NEOCRAFT LIMITED. This game offers turn-based gameplay with an exclusive gacha system. I’ve been playing this game frequently and have made significant progress using some strategic moves, which led me to create this beginner’s guide for “Cyber Uprising”. This guide aims to give you a basic understanding of the game, as well as provide tips that will help speed up your progression. These tips are crucial for new players.
Cyber Rebellion Gameplay Basics
To get started, it’s essential to have a grasp of the game mechanics. Familiarize yourself with the characters, their skills, upgrade process, and formations to maximize the potential of your team. As you embark on this adventure, you’ll be guided by your captain. The key to success will lie in strategically deploying different character classes and engaging in battles. Let’s delve into some fundamental aspects of the game.
Hero Tiers
The combatants in the Cyber Rebellion are famously recognized as heroes. Each hero possesses an initial form that can be enhanced, advancing to higher levels, thereby equipping them with new cybernetic enhancements and abilities. Initially, you start at tier B with every hero, but the game provides a speedy progression to level 20, which grants access to some of their exceptional S-tier or SS-tier skills.
Advancing to new levels and enhancing your heroes will influence their job functions. For instance, a hero might be assigned as an attacker at a lower level, but could transform into a demolisher at higher ranks. It’s essential to develop your heroes according to their roles for optimal usage.
Hero Classes
Each participant’s responsibilities are outlined. In this game, there are four distinct types that we will examine.
- Assault: These combatants are for single-target attacks. They don’t have any effect in a spread area but are useful to blow your final or initial damage. Combatants with one bullet icon are from this class.
- Destroyer: Also assaulters with a few enhancements in their ability. These combatants can deal damage to several opponents at once.
- Support: They’re healers in simple words. They can damage but are limited to a few numbers. Besides healing, they can buff the other squadmates, and also decrease nerf the enemy for a certain period.
- Tank/Heavy: They are fronliners. Why so? Because these combatants will work as a shield to protect your formation and minimize the damage taking.
Fission System
In simpler terms, the fission system allows you to enhance your character’s abilities, taking them to a higher level within the game. While there are only a few characters in the game, each has seven different versions. Therefore, gathering all the characters will require you to play through the entire game. Essentially, you can use the fission system to improve your characters throughout the gameplay.
As a gamer, I’ve discovered that the coveted Fission items can be mine by wrapping up the Main Story quest. You can score them by tackling various tasks, like the CompCore store, Merit store, and other stores or game modes. However, for those of us playing for free, the Main Story is the grandest supplier. To employ the fission system to upgrade each combatant, I need everyday Fission materials. These items are essential for Combatant Fission modifications.
Cyber Rebellion Beginners Guide: Tips to master every combat
Beyond the starting tutorial that familiarizes you with the game mechanics, make sure to maximize your gaming time effectively. Here are some strategies you might find useful.
This version maintains the original meaning but uses simpler and more conversational language to make it easier for the reader to understand.
1. Focus on the Main Quests first
The key quest items will be visible on the screen’s upper left corner. For a swift level-up, it’s advisable to complete the main quests initially. This approach not only helps in unlocking heroes and their abilities but also enables you to improve and assemble a stronger team. The tier of your character is improved through Fission abilities. It’s preferable to have an upper-level character before attempting a Fission, as all skills can be transferred to the upgraded character then. In essence, you require Fission to progress effectively in the game.
2. Master the basics of Team Building
When you begin participating in battles, it’s crucial to familiarize yourself with the basic structure of a team composition. After all, every battle is about strategy! As you progress and advance, you’ll encounter opportunities for hero development. However, before diving into hero placement, make sure you grasp the fundamental aspects of team formation.
3. S-tier combatants and DPS are the key
Prioritize using high-tier characters, specifically Damage Per Second (DPS) combatants, at the beginning. You can find this information on our tier list. While all S-tier fighters are strong, DPS combatants will provide a significant advantage in every fight and increase your chances of winning quickly. This will make the initial battles easier to conquer and help you level up faster.
4. Initially, focus on how to level up and progress quickly
Starting out in the game for the first time as a novice player, the initial seven days are pivotal. If you take advantage of this period and make thoughtful decisions, your advancement will be more rapid. Therefore, it’s imperative to focus on your account’s progress during this first week. Since we typically start off playing for free, we heavily depend on the complimentary items that the game offers.
It’s advisable to check in daily on NeuroCon, as they’re essential for battles. You’ll be billed for these items with each fight, so it’s crucial to keep them stored. Additionally, aim to gather as much Supply Raid as you can for the Component Interface. Although there won’t be much money to purchase something exclusive from the store, you’ll strive to buy the Perfect Skill Code using it.
Other Miscellaneous Tips
In this game, the Gacha system stands out for being quite distinct within its specific genre. However, there are alternative methods available that can help you advance more swiftly.
- Raise your BR which includes increasing the combatant level and their Star level.
- Level up faster. The only ways are to complete daily tasks and clear the main stage. Blitz Skill Code R&D or Daily Resources R&D can yield large amounts of leveling resources.
- Commander EXP is important as it will help the whole squad in a fight. Completing Daily Tasks, HoloSim Challenge, Main Story, and Covert Ops will get you a lot of Commander EXP.
- As mentioned earlier, get the NeuroCon from Daily Exchange, Daily Supply, SStandard Card, and Free Supply.
- Obtaining resources is a must to progress further. Collect Tesseract, TacData, Basic Anima Chip, Component Interface, and Mod Component A.
- Some players are recommended to use at the early stage of the game. They are: Erik- Death Eye, Rosa- Matrix Runner, Rick- Raiden, and Pastoral- Data Hub.
- Read the game Manual. You can read it from Combatant List> Manual. As the game is huge, you will get everything to know altogether.
If you’re new to this game, I trust that the advice and walkthrough provided will assist you in advancing more swiftly. This way, you can use precious items effectively. Adhere to these tips and have a great time playing!
