CrisisX opens its Pioneer Test on Android, letting you jump into survival action chaos in a massive open-world

Story Highlights

  • CrisisX Pioneer Test is now live on Android, with the end date to be announced later.
  • The game offers a unique, wide-open world, survival activities, zombies and monsters with diverse attack patterns, allies, animal taming, and more.

HUNTERGAME has begun a new paid testing phase for their zombie survival crafting game, CrisisX, available on Android. This ‘Pioneer Test’ includes a full data wipe for participants. The game was previously available in early access in Southeast Asia, and the developers announced a release date sometime in the second quarter of 2026 back in August 2025.

Get ready to explore a massive world and survive the harsh weather and zombie outbreak

CrisisX is a survival action game set in a vast open world after a deadly virus has decimated the human population. The game takes place in cities overrun with dangerous mutants and zombies. Players create their own character and are free to explore the massive 1,200 square kilometer map, scavenging for resources in cities and bunkers to survive.

I especially enjoy how the game realistically recreates North American landscapes and weather. You’ll travel through different environments, experience changing weather, and deal with different time zones. Along the way, you’ll need to solve puzzles, complete challenging tasks, and work with others to build a safe place to survive.

You’ll experience survival-focused gameplay, action-packed combat, and more

I really enjoy the survival aspects of the game – being able to venture out for food and water while collecting resources like wood, minerals, and hunted game is a lot of fun. The game seems very well-made overall, with exciting combat and a variety of enemy and ally attacks.

This test is currently open to players using Android devices in Southeast Asia. Because this is a paid test where we’re wiping data, any progress you make during the beta will be reset when the test ends. You’ll be refunded for any purchases you made when the official game launches. We’ll let you know the test’s end date soon.

You can try out CrisisX by downloading either the Standard or Lite version from the Google Play Store. We’ll share more information about the full launch soon.
