icefill is bringing its popular turn-based strategy game, Crawl Tactics, to Android and iOS devices on May 13, 2026. The game, which draws inspiration from classics like Final Fantasy Tactics and the challenging dungeons of Darkest Dungeon, originally launched on PC in 2022. Mobile pre-registration is now available.

Get ready to build your town and defend against enemy invasions

I’m really digging Crawl Tactics! It’s got that classic strategy RPG feel in combat, but with the unpredictable, replayable nature of a roguelike. What’s cool is it’s not about solving puzzles – it’s a real strategy game where you have to think about the battlefield, where enemies are, how your skills work together, and really plan things out. It feels great!

I’m really excited to jump into Dungeon mode – each playthrough is different because the maps are randomly created and the fights are tough. If you’re looking for even more to do, Quest mode lets you create and grow your own town, train soldiers, and defend against increasingly difficult attacks.

You can freely customize skills, enjoy 8-unit battles, and more

As you play, you’ll be able to personalize almost everything – from your character’s skills and equipment to their class, abilities, and even how they look. I especially enjoy being able to continue developing characters after finishing the game through New Game Plus and replaying the main dungeons. And if you don’t want to play alone, the game lets you control a full party of eight characters in battle!

Battles are genuinely enjoyable because the environment plays a role – things like terrain and traps impact everyone, allowing you to create effects like burning grass or electrifying water. With its dungeon exploration, interesting characters, customization options, and unique ability to push and throw objects, the game seems like a worthwhile experience. Despite the high price, it’s definitely worth checking out.
