Country star Ray Stevens is recovering after breaking his neck in a fall

Country singer Ray Stevens is recovering after breaking his neck in a fall.

According to a statement, 87-year-old Stevens fell on Sunday and fractured his neck. The Grammy-winning artist was treated at a Nashville hospital and is now home recovering. Doctors have recommended he wear a neck brace for the next month.

I just read the update on the actor, and thankfully, even with the injury, they say he’s still able to move around and is keeping a positive attitude while he recovers. That’s really good to hear!

Stevens is still on track to release his new album, “Favorites Old & New,” this Friday. It includes both classic songs – like “It Had to Be You” and “Come Rain or Come Shine” – and some original tracks.

Ray Stevens said he had a great time making his new album, ‘Favorites Old & New.’ It features both some of his classic songs and newer tracks written by other gifted songwriters. He hopes his fans love it!

In July, Stevens had a heart attack and needed a procedure called a heart catheterization, followed by surgery. Soon after, he posted on Instagram saying he was recovering well.

Ray is thankful for all the cards and messages wishing him well, and remains optimistic, declaring, “Everything is Still Beautiful!”
