Kenny Chesney addressed the recent viral attention surrounding his song ‘Out Last Night,’ which became associated with claims of infidelity.

A 58-year-old country singer shared a song on social media after a TikTok video revealed a story of cheating.

On Monday night, Chesney posted a video on TikTok showing a huge crowd singing along with him during a concert.

I’ve been following Kenny Chesney for years, and when that whole situation blew up, I was really curious how he’d address it. Instead of making a statement, he did something classic Kenny – he took the stage and performed a song that subtly poked fun at the whole thing. It was a really clever way to acknowledge everything without getting into a direct discussion about it.

A TikTok video posted by Mikala West recently went viral, racking up almost 25 million views.

She shared that a friend of hers quickly connected with a utility worker at a bar in Huntsville, Alabama, around the end of March.

She posted a video of them dancing and kissing, and explained she was trying to find the man for a friend.

She shared a TikTok video explaining that her friend met the person she’s meant to be with last night in Huntsville, Alabama, following the lineman rodeo.

All we know about him is that his name is Mike, and his friends playfully called him repeatedly, like the characters calling for Nemo in the movie ‘Finding Nemo.’ She then urged everyone to help bring Nemo home.

Many TikTok users reacted positively to the sweet story in the comments, but then someone claimed to be Mike’s wife.

‘Hi! I’m Michael’s wife. He’s busy explaining this to our two children right now,’ she wrote. 

Chesney originally released the song, Out Last Night, as part of his 2009 Greatest Hits II album.

In reaction to his post, many fans commented beneath Chesney’s post and reacted to the drama. 

‘Oh Kenny this is MESSY,’ one TikTok user wrote. 

‘How everyone knows about Mike the lineman is next level,’ one fan commented. 

Someone else commented, ‘I’m actually laughing out loud. It’s really serious when the artist themselves is addressing it.’

A TikTok user playfully commented that Kenny unknowingly created the theme song for a character called “Mike the Lineman” back in 1990.

Many fans commented and suggested Kenny Chesney invite Laura, who claims to be Mike’s wife, to one of his concerts.

Someone else commented on how popular the song had become and jokingly suggested to Chesney that he should now dedicate it to ‘Mike’.
