Coleen Nolan beamed with pride as her grandson, Cruz, appeared on TV for the first time, making a guest appearance on Tuesday’s episode of Loose Women.
The 60-year-old presenter looked delighted while showing off the three-month-old baby on the ITV show.
Coleen’s son Shane welcomed his first child with his partner Kim in November.
He is one of Coleen’s two sons from her marriage to Shane Richie, which lasted from 1990 to 1999.
Coleen was thrilled when her son, Shane, brought her grandson, Cruz, to visit her on set during the show.
It was a bit of a shock to see her out so soon, especially considering just weeks ago, she had to rush her grandson to the emergency room – it was a really scary time for the whole family, and we were all so worried.
On today’s show, the Loose Women panelists talked about whether people in the UK are treating the flu with the seriousness it deserves.
Coleen then shared the terrifying ordeal with her fellow co-stars.
She explained that her son recently came down with the flu and had a temperature of 102 degrees.
Their five-week-old son, Cruz, developed a fever, so they immediately took him to the emergency room, and it suddenly hit them how serious things were.
Shane has been with his partner Kim since 2024.
The pair welcomed their Cruz-Carter on November 13 2025.
Both Shane and Kim have children from previous relationships.
Coleen explained that Kim, Shane’s girlfriend, told her the emergency room was extremely crowded with people suffering from the flu.
The telly star confessed that it ‘hits home it becomes more of a reality’.
Coleen is also proud mum to Ciara Fensome, who welcomed her son Sidney Ray, in October this year.
She shares her daughter with ex Ray Fensome.
Coleen has impressed viewers of Loose Women with her stunning makeover since she began her weight loss journey.
I remember when she first talked about her weight earlier this year, in 2024. She said finding out she was pre-diabetic was a real shock – a huge wake-up call, as she put it. It really made her rethink things.
The presenter was given the concerning news after suffering from a nasty chest infection.
According to the NHS, type 2 diabetes can cause serious health issues like kidney disease and heart problems.
Coleen is working on losing weight with a program that includes both coaching and weight loss injections.
Coleen wrote in The Mirror that she realized she needed to change her habits, saying it was like a wake-up call to tell herself, ‘Enough snacks – time to step away from the fridge!’
I’m still adjusting to my new diet, especially learning to check food labels for sugar. So far, I’ve completely stopped eating junk food like chocolate and chips.
Coleen is working to lose weight by combining a program with personalized coaching and weight loss injections.
In a Facebook ad, she explained that she’s 60 years old and has tried many different approaches to her health. She’s currently pre-diabetic and wants to take action now before her condition progresses to type 2 diabetes.
‘I want to now, for my grandkids, try and be as healthy for as long as I can.’
