Coachella has announced the schedule for the first weekend of its 2026 festival, and a musician who previously headlined the event will be performing again.
Jack White, recently a musical guest on “Saturday Night Live” alongside Jack Black, will kick off the music in the Mojave Tent this Saturday. He’s scheduled to play from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m.
Jack White is the newest artist announced to play a surprise set at the festival, following in the footsteps of Weezer and Ed Sheeran (2025), Blink-182 (2023), and Arcade Fire (2022).

Jack White last performed at the festival as a headliner in 2015. He was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as part of The White Stripes, who previously played Coachella in 2003.
Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G are headlining the festival on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively. Carpenter will take the stage first, performing from 9:05 to 10:35 p.m. Later that night, electronic artist Anyma will debut a new production called “Æden” on the Coachella stage at midnight.
Music
From its start as a small desert festival, Coachella has grown into a huge influence on pop culture. Relive some of its most memorable moments, featuring performances by artists like Daft Punk and Beyoncé, plus iconic sights like the famous Coachella astronaut, and much more.
Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails and German producer Boys Noize, together known as Nine Inch Noize, will perform in the Sahara Tent on Saturday night from 8:00 to 8:45 p.m.
Coachella hasn’t announced Weekend 2 set times yet.
So, Coachella dropped some more details today about that intriguing “Bunker” thing they teased on the festival poster. As a big Radiohead fan, I’m really curious to see what it’s all about!
Coachella’s Instagram announced the premiere of “Radiohead Motion Picture House Kid A Mnesia,” a 75-minute film created by the band’s singer, Thom Yorke, and artist Stanley Donwood. The film features sketches, paintings, collages, audio, and handwritten notes documenting the making of the albums “Kid A” and “Amnesiac.”
Admission is free, but you’ll need to reserve a time slot in advance. If you can’t make a reservation, we’ll welcome visitors as space becomes available, serving those who arrive first.
On the Coachella website, it describes the Bunker as being located near the Sahara Tent.
