Clay Aiken’s son Parker, 15, looks like his dad’s twin while making his TV debut on Celebrity Family Feud
As an ardent fan who has witnessed Clay Aiken’s journey from American Idol runner-up to Masked Singer participant and now, proud dad, I must say this latest chapter of his life is nothing short of heartwarming! Watching Parker, his spitting image, make his TV debut on Celebrity Family Feud was a pure delight. The boy’s quick wit and charm left even the skeptical Steve Harvey impressed!
Clay Aiken’s son Parker made his television debut on Tuesday evening.
In a more relaxed phrasing: Last week on Family Feud, the second-place finalist from American Idol (aged 45) and his spitting image teenage son (15 years old) made an appearance together. This isn’t their first time in the spotlight; they previously starred on The Masked Singer.
Speaking proudly, the father identified his teenage son, Parker, as he appeared on television for the first time, to the friendly greeting of talk show host, Steve Harvey.
As I observed the father-son pair excel on the trivia game stage, their striking resemblance in smile, nose, eyes, and lips left me in awe, almost as if I were witnessing two mirrored reflections.
Aiken’s team consisted of the mother and brother of the composer behind “The Measure of a Man”, his closest friend, and the mother of Parker (Jaymes Foster’s sister). They went head-to-head against David Foster, Jaymes’ sibling, and Katharine McPhee’s kin.
Apart from captivating everyone due to his strong family resemblance to his renowned father, Parker was equally mesmerizing by delivering quick-witted comments and insightful responses that left fans in awe.
In the role of an enthusiastic participant, I clinched the victory by replying correctly to the intriguing query, “Who is a popular Tom that a young lady might adore as her date to the prom?” My response: the charismatic and handsome Spiderman sensation, Tom Holland.
In the face of Steve Harvey’s doubts, the Aiken family triumphed, utilizing their victory to benefit their charity, the National Inclusion Project.
On Tuesday earlier today, Clay shared a video on his Instagram Story featuring his teenage son and the 67-year-old host of Family Feud. The clip was a sneak peek for an upcoming episode. He also included a label that read ‘first appearance’ in the post.
In August 2008, Jaymes Foster (known for his hit song “The I Will Carry You” and work as a music producer) welcomed his son Parker. Notably, this was only a month before Parker’s father publicly announced his homosexuality in an interview with People magazine.
In recent weeks, they made an appearance on Family Feud, the same week their father openly shared with E! News that his son is gifted in music and often sings. However, contrary to expectations, the son doesn’t aim to emulate his father’s career path as a musician.
He opted for a distinct route, as there’s another goal he desires to accomplish in his existence. I’m thrilled about it for him, he shared with the media source.
The singer expressed that his son is deeply infused with more than just a love for music; it seems to be a part of him, almost like blood running through his veins, he mentioned. Furthermore, he noted that his uncle David, aunt Katharine, and fellow American Idol star Ruben Studdard would always lend their support.

When someone asked Clay whether he’d suggest Parker try out for the singing contest, Clay replied that, being a father, allows him to support his son in whichever direction he decides to go.
‘I mean, I think that’s what you’re supposed to do is support whatever they want to do,’ he said.
In the year 2003, Clay became the second place finalist on American Idol, which ultimately catapulted him into widespread recognition and success within the music industry.
