Claudia Winkleman shares next presenting role after quitting Strictly Come Dancing

Claudia Winkleman is adding another presenting job to her resume after leaving Strictly Come Dancing. She’ll be working with Channel 4 again, following her successful three seasons hosting the show The Piano.

Claudia will host the live broadcast of Crufts, alongside returning reporters Clare Balding, Ellie Simmonds, and Radzi Chinyanganya.

The prestigious dog show returns on March 5th, offering 20 hours of live coverage over four days on Channel 4 and More4.

In a recent statement, Claudia, the host of The Traitors, shared her deep affection for dogs, saying she couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.

Clare expressed her excitement about working with Claudia, describing her as a wonderful new member of the team. She noted Claudia’s love of dogs will add a fun and positive energy, along with her intelligence and great sense of style.

After finishing on Strictly Come Dancing last year, including the Christmas special, Claudia has landed her own BBC chat show. The show will be made by the team behind The Graham Norton Show and is scheduled to begin airing in the spring.

Claudia admitted she wasn’t expecting to be good, but expressed her excitement about getting the opportunity when her show was first announced.

Everyone is eagerly awaiting news on who will take over from Claudia and Tess Daly on Strictly Come Dancing. While some potential hosts have said they aren’t interested, others have indicated they’d be happy to consider the role if asked.

Crufts begins on Channel 4 and More4 from Thursday, 5 March.
