Christina Hall ‘did not sign a prenup’ with Josh Hall – as he requests alimony and equal split of community property including $12.6M mansion

Christina Hall 'did not sign a prenup' with Josh Hall - as he requests alimony and equal split of community property including $12.6M mansion

As someone who has followed the real estate world and HGTV closely, I’ve been keeping a close eye on the latest developments with Tarek and Christina El Moussa. Having witnessed their rise to fame together as co-hosts of Flip or Flop, it’s disheartening to see their personal lives take such a tumultuous turn.

I’m a faithful follower of the latest news, and according to reports, Christina Hall didn’t have a prenuptial agreement in place before her separation from her husband, Josh Hall. He’s currently seeking alimony, they say.

On July 15, just under three years since their wedding, they initiated divorce proceedings. Christina, aged 41, is requesting the court’s permission to no longer provide her ex-husband with spousal support.

Josh, a 43-year-old ex-police officer now working as a realtor, is said to be seeking both alimony payments and an equal share of the shared property.

According to Us Weekly, they own a mansion worth $12.6 million in Newport Beach, California, with titles bearing both of their names.

Josh, who serves as a consulting producer on his spouse’s television programs “Christina On The Coast” and “Christina In The Country,” is reportedly aiming for an equal share of the rights to the TV shows they collaborated on during their marriage.

According to a source, Christina puts in a great deal of effort and achieves success. However, she reportedly believed that Josh wasn’t pulling his weight when it came to sharing household responsibilities.

At the same time, an anonymous source asserted that Josh continued to work diligently during his collaboration with Christina.

I’ve been following the home improvement world for quite some time now, and I must say, I’m thrilled to hear that Christina is back at work filming her HGTV show “The Flip Off.” However, it’s a bit disappointing to learn that Josh won’t be joining her this time around. As a longtime fan of their dynamic duo, I can’t help but feel a pang of sadness knowing they won’t be working together as before. Nonetheless, I have faith in Christina’s abilities and am excited to see how she tackles this new project on her own. After all, every experience, good or bad, shapes our lives in unique ways. Let’s cheer Christina on as she embarks on this next chapter of “The Flip Off”!

The Flip Off represents the follow-up installment of Flip Or Flop, the hit reality TV show from a decade ago that brought Christina significant recognition, initially alongside her former spouse Tarek El Moussa.

Josh, age 41, and Christina, also 41, were supposed to be co-stars with Tarek, 42, and his spouse Heather Rae El Moussa, 36, on the latest TV show.

Last week, when Josh and Christina announced their intention to divorce, it sparked great interest and debate among people regarding the potential impact on their ongoing project.

Currently, sources close to the situation have shared with People that Christina is once again working on The Flip Off without Josh being involved.

We’ll find out if any footage Josh has previously shot for the show will be used in the broadcasted episodes.

In May, it was revealed that Josh and Christina would go head-to-head with Tarek and Heather in a house flipping competition. Their goal: determine which duo could make the greatest profit from remodeling and selling a property.

An unexpected development occurred when Josh and Christina initiated their divorce proceedings on July 16, which marked more than two years since their wedding.

A source shared with Us Weekly the next day that “The Flip Off is being made without Josh’s involvement. The show is proceeding sans him.”

Heather and Tarek might have anticipated the change since reports indicated that Christina and Josh’s separation wasn’t sudden but rather, they had been experiencing problems for some time.

The Flip Off is set to air on HGTV in early 2025 with a two-hour premiere.

In the original announcement, HGTV stated: “During the show, Tarek and Christina, joined by real estate agents Heather Rae El Moussa and Josh Hall, will aim to make the most profit by finding, purchasing, renovating, and selling houses.”

Based on my personal observation and experience with social media and home renovation content, it seems that Josh has not yet fully moved on from his previous project, “The Flip Off.” I have noticed this because the original description for the project is still available on HGTV’s website. Furthermore, he has yet to remove any promotional posts related to the show from his official Instagram page.

Heather and Tarek have remained silent about Christina’s separation and any reported modifications to The Flip Show.

In the year 2021, Tarek got married to Heather; this was three years following his divorce from Christina. They now have a one-year-old baby boy named Tristan together.

From 2009 to 2018, Christina was in marriage with Tarek. They have two kids together: a thirteen-year-old daughter named Taylor Reese, and an eight-year-old son named Brayden.

Starting in 2018, Ant Anstead, a well-known British television host, became her subsequent spouse. Together, they brought a son named Hudson into the world, who is now four years old.

Christina and Tarek gained popularity simultaneously by working together as the hosts of HGTV’s Flip or Flop since its debut in 2013.

Despite keeping up with the show production till 2022, a bitter feud between the two ex-spouses unexpectedly erupted in public view in July 2021. On set, they were captured having a fiery argument.

During that period, according to reports from TMZ, Tarek became irritated when Christina suggested to him and certain production team members that they should continue shooting.

Something triggered him, leading him to reportedly yell at his ex-wife, labeling her as a “worn-out failure.”

He additionally involved his future spouse, Heather, in the dispute by belittling Christina and supposedly commenting that his upcoming bride was wealthier and more alluring than her.

According to reports from reliable sources, Tarek became angry at Christina following an argument, unbeknownst to many, she had previously shared with him that she had used hallucinogenic toad venom with Josh prior to the incident.

Soon after fight, it was announced that Flip Or Flop’s 10th season would be its last.

News of Christina’s divorce — her third in less than 10 years — was reported by TMZ on Tuesday.

Based on recent reports I’ve come across, my dear readers, Christina and Josh made the difficult decision to file for divorce on July 16. The reasons behind this painful separation are said to be irreconcilable differences between them.

The stars of “Christina in the Country” from TV reportedly filed their documents for legal separation in Orange County, California on July 8.

According to the report, Josh seeks financial support from Christina in the form of alimony but is unwilling to provide her with any funds in return.

It was additionally stated that Joshua requested the court to divide their separate property prior to their marriage.

The reality TV stars wed in October 2021 and have no children together.
