ChatGPT to roll out for iPhones by end of year
As a seasoned gamer and tech enthusiast with decades of experience under my belt, I must admit, I’m thrilled about the prospect of ChatGPT integration with iOS devices! The idea of having Siri and ChatGPT collaborate is like the perfect fusion of AI and human-like interaction.
Hey Siri, can you ask ChatGPT something?
Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, announced during an investor call on Thursday that ChatGPT is expected to be available on iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia by the end of this year. This declaration aligns with the June 2024 WWDC keynote statement, which promised integration of ChatGPT for iPhones, iPads, and Macs later in 2024.
ChatGPT to roll out to iPhones by the end of the year
The CEO confirmed that Apple plans to incorporate ChatGPT into its systems by the end of this year, according to MacRumors, so fans can anticipate a potential integration between Siri and ChatGPT around the same time.
The iOS 18.1 beta unveiled new Intelligence features for developers, but ChatGPT integration is not available at this time. Nevertheless, some exciting intelligence capabilities were introduced, such as the ability to summarize email content. This feature could prove particularly beneficial for lengthy business and spam emails. Additionally, call recording and automatic transcription services are now available, offering practical assistance in everyday life.

1. Siri will soon offer tech assistance for a variety of questions about iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks. Additionally, iPhones will now filter notifications to only show those that demand immediate attention, reducing interruptions. However, integration with ChatGPT is yet to be demonstrated to developers. If you’re interested, you can register for a beta account, but remember the beta version comes with potential risks. It might be wiser to hold off until the stable version launch in September, coinciding with the new iPhone release.
As a long-time user of various AI models, I am thrilled by the news that ChatGPT will soon be accessible to iOS users without even requiring account creation. This is a significant step forward in making advanced AI technology more accessible to the masses. In my personal experience, I’ve found that AI can greatly enhance productivity and creativity, so I’m excited to see more people being able to benefit from it.
