Channing Tatum calls fiancée Zoë Kravitz ‘nerd for movies’ while praising her filmmaking skills in directorial debut Blink Twice on NBC talk show
As an ardent fan of the enchanting world of cinema, I find myself utterly captivated by the extraordinary journey of Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz. Their shared passion for films is not just a pastime, but a deeply ingrained part of their existence. It’s as if they’ve discovered a secret language that only cinematic geniuses understand – a language that transcends the boundaries of time and space.
On Wednesday, Channing Tatum affectionately labeled his fiancee, Zoe Kravitz, as a “movie enthusiast” while expressing admiration for her directorial debut, “Blink Twice,” during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
As a dedicated follower, I too admired the exceptional quality of the film directed by Channing, who made his debut as a director at the impressive age of 44.
In my own words, I’d say, “I’m quite passionate about films, to the point where it seems like my only pastime. This is a trait I’ve noticed in Zoë, who, at 35, is the daughter of Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz.” (Channing’s revelation)
Channing shared that from the beginning, she mentioned something like, “I’m not into activities,” prompting a laugh from the crowd.
Channing responded by laughing and saying something like “Ha-ha-ha. Alright,” to which she replied, “No, let me explain. I’m not into hiking or those kinds of activities. That’s all there is to it.”
Channing said on their typical day off they watch three or four movies a day.
‘Like we just love it,’ he said.
Channing also shared that Zoe has been working on the script for seven years.
As a diligent observer, I’d like to share that it appears she began penning her work approximately seven years back when she found herself in London, engrossed in a film project. With ample free time on set, it seems she decided to channel her creativity and start writing.
He remarked, causing amusement among the crowd, “It was named ‘Island of Such-and-Such,'” he said. “That was the initial title. I believe those were her first two words on the cover page. She wasn’t entirely sure what the subject matter would be, but she knew it would bear that name.”
Channing heaped praise on Zoe for her effort.
He expressed his astonishment, saying, “Her method is simply incredible! The very first script I read seemed daringly adventurous, taking risks that I’ve rarely encountered before.”
He said her passion for the project was so strong that just a week ago she was talking about working on it.

Channing stated, “The film is wrapped up and will soon release. Once it hits theaters this weekend, it won’t be available for us to watch anymore. She’s tenacious and persistent, and I couldn’t be more proud of her.”
Blink Twice is scheduled to be released in theaters on Friday.
Additionally, Channing mentioned plans to attend a Taylor Swift concert with his 11-year-old daughter Everly, whom he shares with his former wife Jenna Dewan (aged 43).
In a candid admission, the actor from Magic Mike admitted there was considerable anticipation regarding his dance performances. However, he chose to execute them with more reserved movements.
