The horror comedy movie Hacked: A Double Entendre of Rage Fueled Karma, starring a talented cast, will be released soon. An official trailer is now available, giving viewers a first look at this unusual film.
I’m really excited for Hacked: A Double Entendre of Rage Fueled Karma to come out! It’s hitting VOD on June 2, 2026, after a short run in theaters in May. It’s from Scatena & Rosner Films and directed by Shane Brady, which is great. And get this – Chandler Riggs, who I remember as Carl from The Walking Dead, is the lead! He looks totally different in the trailer – seriously, I almost didn’t recognize him. You can check it out below, and I highly recommend it!
The Film Is Inspired by True Events
This film is based on the real-life experiences of Brady and producer Emily Zercher. It tells the story of the Rumble family and their dream of owning a home, which quickly turns into a disaster when a mysterious hacker nicknamed “The Chameleon” steals all their money. But they won’t be an easy target – the family decides to get revenge and make the hacker pay for the damage he’s caused. The filmmakers promise a thrilling and entertaining ride, saying that revenge has “never been this much fun.”
According to Brady, the film Hacked started with the thought that tough experiences can either destroy you or become a great story. He aims to transform pain, chaos, and frustration into something enjoyable and relatable through his films, and he’s thrilled to be partnering with S&R Films to share this one with audiences across North America.
Zach Stampones, Head of Acquisitions at Scatena & Rosner Films, was a strong supporter of Hacked from the beginning. He noted the film’s exciting energy, describing it as wild, funny, and fast-paced thanks to its quick editing. Stampones believes the film will be a hit with viewers and perform well on all distribution channels.
Walking Dead Stars Reunite in the New Movie
In addition to Josh Riggs, the film features Katelyn Nacon and Glenn Stanton, both known for their roles in The Walking Dead. The cast also includes Owen Atlas (from Little Evil), Collin Thompson, Richard Riehle, Shane Brady (Breathing Happy), and NHL legend Phil Esposito, who founded the Tampa Bay Lightning. Rounding out the ensemble are Augie Duke (Mayans M.C.), Hugh Scott (Deadpool), Brittney Escalante (9-1-1: Lone Star), and Mia Castillo (The Fairly Odd Parents: Fairly Odder).
Atlas described working on Hacked as a fantastic experience. He especially loved performing the fight scene with Chandler, praising his good-natured attitude. Atlas also enjoyed playing a character who creates trouble and then faces the fallout.
Zercher described “Hacked” as a story for anyone who’s been hurt but persevered. The team aimed to create a thrilling experience where things fall apart spectacularly, leading to a funny, embarrassing, and ultimately satisfying revenge story. They wanted to bring those secret, usually impossible, fantasies to life in a wildly entertaining way.
Hacked: A Double Entendre of Rage Fueled Karma releases on VOD platforms on June 2, 2026.
