It features a track called “Home to Us” where he almost unexpectedly collaborated with Ringo Starr. Starr was originally just asked to play drums, but ended up being brought back to contribute to the whole album.
Nearing her 80th birthday, Marina Abramović returns to Venice for a landmark exhibition, Transforming Energy, at the Gallerie dell’Accademia. So, I was watching Jimmy Fallon the other night, and Ronnie Wood was on. Jimmy was reading the back of the new album’s vinyl, and that’s how we found out about the cover art! It turns out the song originally came out on Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black album way back in 2006. Pretty cool to see them bringing that track back!

I think audiences recognize the truth in that – when you try to please someone who’s self-absorbed, they’ll never truly appreciate it, and will eventually betray you. However, the deaths that happened at Marathon’s Mansion were all intended to be comedic.

Okay, so how was that Haircut One Hundred gig at the Cambridge Corn Exchange? Honestly, it was fantastic! It’s been 45 years since they had their big hits, and they were at the top of their game back then. Seeing them now, yeah, we’ve all changed a bit, they’ve aged, I’ve aged – but the music? Still incredible. It honestly didn’t feel like any time had passed at all when they started playing.
