The hit series The Assassin is coming back for a second season! News from Deadline confirms that production will begin later this year, with Keeley Hawes and Freddie Highmore reprising their roles as Julie and Edward Green. Returning cast members also include Shalom Brune-Franklin and Devon Terrell. The new season will continue the thrilling story, blending elements of spy action, intense drama, and even a touch of unexpected romance – think James Bond meets Taken with a hint of Mamma Mia! – and details about the plot are now available.

Season 3 of Shrinking hasn’t been easy for anyone. Following some encouragement from his dad (Jeff Daniels) and Liz, Jimmy finally asked someone out – his first date since Tia passed away. The third and final season of Fire Force really takes risks, building towards a possible end of the world as a devastating event seems more and more likely. While Fire Force has always been unique, its final episodes echo the intense, philosophical conclusion of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Season 3, Part 2 consists of 13 episodes that bring this excellent action series to a thrilling and satisfying finish.

The upcoming movie, Avengers: Doomsday, will heavily feature Thor, as seen in the recent teaser where he’s shown praying to Odin before a major battle. While Doomsday will be a significant part of Thor’s story, it seems it won’t be the end of it, potentially setting him up for a key role in the Secret Wars movie.

Even though critics weren’t impressed (it only scored 30% on Rotten Tomatoes), the action thriller Shadow Force actually resonated with audiences. Viewers gave it a strong 82% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, proving it succeeded in some way despite negative reviews.
