With Daredevil: Born Again heading into its second season, the growing storyline about a task force against vigilantes has people wondering how it might affect Spider-Man. While Spider-Man is closely tied to New York City, the show’s creators haven’t yet confirmed how involved he’ll be in this particular plot.

The series, created and written by Rapman (Andrew Onwubolu), premiered in 2024 and boasts a talented British cast. Featured actors include Tosin Cole (known for Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens and Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie), Adelayo Adedayo (The Responder), Josh Tedeku (Boarders, A Town Called Malice), Nadine Mills (The Strangers), Eric Kofi-Abrefa (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom), Calvin Demba (Kingsman: The Golden Circle), Ghetts, Digga D (Thir13en Ghosts), and Eddie Marsan (Sherlock Holmes, The World’s End).

Firefly first appeared in 2002, but unfortunately, the network canceled it before the entire first season could air. This unique blend of space adventure and Western themes was innovative for its time, and Fox had difficulty finding the right way to promote it. Although fans have consistently campaigned for a revival, the show only consists of 14 episodes. A 2005 film called Serenity provided a satisfying ending to the story, but the world of Firefly has primarily expanded through other formats like books and comics. That’s why the show’s return to television is so significant, even though a potential, obvious storyline hasn’t been explored.

Kevin Williamson, the writer behind the Scream movies (Scream, Scream 2, and Scream 4), recently discussed on the Happy Horror Time podcast his desire to explore Sidney Prescott’s difficult history in the newest film.

Filming is happening now in Surrey, England. Game of Thrones actor [actor’s name, if known] has been seen practicing impressive gunfights with two pistols and doing difficult stunts, showing they’ve spent months preparing for the role.

Jai Courtney, the Australian actor known for his roles in Netflix’s War Machine and American Primeval, has joined the cast. He’ll be working alongside Aimee Carrero, who recently appeared in the popular film The Menu and the Apple TV+ series Your Friends & Neighbors. Ruben Fleischer, the director of Venom, is also on board to direct. While details about their characters are being kept secret, both actors and the director are well-versed in the genre.

Okay, so there’s this really interesting fan theory going around! Apparently, some people think the ‘Brand New Day’ Spider-Man storyline might actually tie into the upcoming ‘Thunderbolts’ movie. The idea is that there’s a connection through The Void, and it could involve timelines somehow lining up. It’s a bit complex, but it’s a cool thought that these two stories could be linked!

The first scene features Spider-Man swinging through New York City with a captured criminal, striking a pose that’s a direct nod to his very first comic book appearance in Amazing Fantasy #15. It’s a visual echo of his origins and highlights iconic imagery associated with the character.
