Kingdom Come: Deliverance’s Henry Actor Says He’d Be Open to Joining Film Adaptation

Though many know him from video games, McKay is primarily a stage actor with a long history performing for renowned companies like the Royal Shakespeare Company and London’s National Theatre. He’s also appeared in minor roles in film and television. However, his performance as Henry in the 2018 game Kingdom Come: Deliverance really put him on the map. McKay not only voiced the character but also provided the motion capture, creating a nuanced and evolving portrayal of Henry. The buzz surrounding Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 led many to predict McKay would be recognized with an award. While he wasn’t nominated at The Game Awards 2025, he did receive nominations at both the Golden Joystick Awards and the BAFTA Game Awards.
