Jen Shah, former star of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” pleaded guilty to fraud in July 2022 and was sentenced to six and a half years in prison in January 2023. She is now finishing her sentence – which appears to have been shortened – through a community confinement program. Shah was moved from a federal prison in Bryan, Texas, in December and is scheduled to be fully released on August 30th.

WGA staff union says they’ve been stripped of healthcare amid strike

Generally, our staff receives the same health plan as members of the Writers Guild, through the Producer-Writers Guild of America Health Plan. Staff members who are part of the union and work at least 31 hours a week usually get monthly coverage. However, because the staff union—representing over 100 employees in areas like legal, communications, and residuals—is currently on strike, they’ve lost their eligibility for the plan.
