Next month, ITVX will stream Fallen, a critically acclaimed fantasy series based on Lauren Kate’s bestselling novels. The show, praised for being both captivating and visually stunning, follows Lucinda ‘Luce’ Price, played by Jessica Alexander, as she navigates life at the Sword and Cross reform facility.
There, she becomes captivated by the mysterious Daniel Grigori (Gijs Blom) and unexpectedly falls into a centuries-old love. This connection reveals a larger destiny, putting her right in the middle of a battle between good and evil.
The series will be available on ITVX starting May 3rd, and stars Sarah Niles from Ted Lasso, Alexander Siddig known for Game of Thrones, and Timothy Innes of The Last Kingdom.

The show premiered in 2024, building on a 2016 movie that featured Addison Timlin, Jeremy Irvine, Harrison Gilbertson, and Joely Richardson.
Fans and critics both praised Fallen, with many IMDb users calling it captivating and believing it should be more popular.

Someone else commented that the show took a weak beginning and made it interesting, even managing to address a significant plot issue. They’re hoping it gets renewed for a second season!
I’ve been a longtime fan of the books, and I was really worried about the show after seeing the movie. Despite all the changes they made, I’m actually very pleased with the casting.

The movie itself was okay, but the actors, particularly Jessica and Gijs, had a great connection, and that’s what really kept me hooked until the very end.
I didn’t have any expectations going in, and I thought it would only loosely connect to the original story through character names. But I was really happy to find that it actually follows the book very closely.
The show immediately grabs your attention. I was hooked by the central idea after just the first episode.
Fallen comes to ITVX on 3 May.
