Captain America 4’s Cut Post-Credits Debuted a New MCU Hulk – Report

Originally, the upcoming 2025 film Captain America: Brave New World was planned to reveal a different version of the Hulk in a scene after the credits. However, the filmmakers decided against including this. Although the movie does introduce Red Hulk in live-action, reports suggest they also considered introducing the character Amadeus Cho.

Captain America 4’s alternate post-credits scene revealed in new rumor

Entertainment reporter Daniel Richtman says that the movie Captain America: Brave New World was originally going to feature the character Amadeus Cho, who is also known as the Totally Awesome Hulk.

Test screenings showed Logan Kim (known for his roles in Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Frozen Empire) playing Amadeus Cho in Captain America: Brave New World, and he even shared a scene with Sam Wilson. Originally, the scene after the credits was supposed to show Sam and the Leader talking about how the Leader transformed Cho into the Hulk. Richtman (according to ComicBookMovie.com) now wonders if Kim will still be involved in the role.

According to reports, a significant moment in test screenings for Captain America 4 involved Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) seeking out Amadeus Cho at Stark Industries. Sam wanted to learn more about the special pills, enhanced by gamma radiation, that the Leader (Tim Blake Nelson) had been giving to Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford) – the ones turning him into the Red Hulk.

Despite earlier reports, the final version of Captain America 4 didn’t include either of the post-credit scenes that were discussed – one involving a scene described by Richtman, and another featuring Sam Wilson meeting Amadeus Cho. The movie also didn’t mention Cho or the Totally Awesome Hulk anywhere in the story. It’s currently unknown whether Logan Kim will play the character in future Marvel Cinematic Universe projects, or if the character will appear at all.

The post-credits scene of Captain America: Brave New World doesn’t introduce Cho as expected. Instead, it shows Sam Wilson meeting Samuel Sterns, also known as the Leader, who warns him that a massive attack from outer space is coming.
