Candice Warner appeared calm and composed this week, despite the surprising news of her husband David being charged with drink driving.
The 39-year-old former cricketer was arrested for driving under the influence on Easter Sunday. Reports indicate his breath test showed twice the legal alcohol limit, and his wife, Candice, is said to be very angry about the situation.
Despite the ongoing situation, 41-year-old Candice was seen out running errands in Sydney, appearing focused and professional.
She showed off her gym-honed frame in a sleeveless black top that flaunted her well-toned arms.
I have to say, Candice looked amazing! She really showed off her toned legs in these black Nike shorts – they hit right at the top of her thigh and looked fantastic.
She finished her athletic outfit with white and bright yellow Wilson tennis shoes and white Nike socks.
Wearing her locks back in a tight bun, Candice accessorised with a pair of dark sunglasses.
It appeared that it wasn’t just errands that Candice was running on her outing.
Returning to her car, she was spotted retrieving a pair of fluorescent green Nike football boots.
She replaced her expensive sunglasses with a pair of Oakley Bxtr sunglasses that had purple, reflective lenses.
Someone close to the family shared with Woman’s Day that Candice is very upset with what David has done.
‘Candice is furious,’ the insider claimed.
Another source added that Candice is especially disappointed, given her stance on drink-driving.
They explained that their daughters – Ivy, 11, Indi, 10, and Isla, 6 – have always been taught to respect and follow the rules, so this news will be deeply upsetting for her.
David was reportedly caught by police during routine breath tests on Malabar Road in Maroubra, Sydney, around 5:30 PM on Easter Sunday.
Police in New South Wales reportedly saw a van pull up just before a testing area and stopped the driver. The driver allegedly had a blood alcohol level of 0.104, which is more than double the legal limit.
Warner was arrested and brought to the Maroubra Police Station. He received a notice to appear in court at the Downing Centre on May 7th.
News Corp reported that Warner told police he’d been drinking with a friend before allegedly having a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit.
He reportedly told police he had three glasses of wine at a friend’s place before trying to drive home to Maroubra.
Candice and David became parents to their first child in September 2014, and they got married at Terrara House Estate on the South Coast of New South Wales the following year.
They then announced the birth of Indi in January 2016 and Isla in June 2019.
The mother of three recently told Daily Mail that if she hadn’t become who she is today, she would have loved to be a veterinarian.
‘I love the life we’ve built,’ she said.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have more privacy? Absolutely. But honestly, I’m pretty happy with how things are otherwise.
Overall, I believe our lives would remain much the same – filled with family, activity, and good times with friends.
Candice explained that she found it hard to picture herself having a career that wasn’t related to sports.
She explained, “I put my heart into everything I do, even something as simple as managing a kids’ sports team and providing the orange slices!”
