Two actors from the show Star Trek: Starfleet Academy have spoken out after it was canceled following just two seasons, with plans for a third season scrapped.

Karim Diané, who plays Jay-Den Kraag, announced on Instagram that Season 2 will be the last. He said it was difficult to share the news and that he really enjoyed his time on the show. Diané was grateful for the chance to be part of a well-known science fiction series, appearing in 20 episodes alongside a very talented cast.

Diané mentioned there are only 10 episodes left in the series. He also hinted that Season 2 will be even better than Season 1, describing it as an amplified version of what viewers already enjoyed.
