Two actors from the show Star Trek: Starfleet Academy have spoken out after it was canceled following just two seasons, with plans for a third season scrapped.
Karim Diané, who plays Jay-Den Kraag, announced on Instagram that Season 2 will be the last. He said it was difficult to share the news and that he really enjoyed his time on the show. Diané was grateful for the chance to be part of a well-known science fiction series, appearing in 20 episodes alongside a very talented cast.
Diané mentioned there are only 10 episodes left in the series. He also hinted that Season 2 will be even better than Season 1, describing it as an amplified version of what viewers already enjoyed.

Raoul Bhaneja, who plays Chancellor Kelrec, was understandably disappointed when the show was cancelled, sharing his feelings in an Instagram post. Despite the cancellation, he promised the upcoming season would have been a lot of fun and hinted at exciting growth for the main characters.
He also shared fond memories of working with his fellow actors, saying everyone had a wonderful time. Bhaneja explained that the show’s success was due to the hard work and dedication of the entire cast and crew in creating such a unique world. He expressed gratitude for the experience they all shared. Finally, Bhaneja proudly showed off a jacket themed after Season 2, highlighting his and the crew’s accomplishments on the show.
