Jito has released JTX, a new token on the Solana network. It comes with powerful tools for trading directly on the blockchain, and includes a plan to use 80% of its earnings to increase the value of the existing JTO token.
Jito has officially launched JTX, a new trading platform built for Solana’s onchain economy.
This update allows over 100,000 users who were on the waitlist to start using advanced trading tools while still maintaining full control of their funds.
This new release comes as Solana remains a leader in decentralized cryptocurrency trading and continues to grow its platform for tokenized assets.
As a researcher, I’ve been looking into JTX and it suggests a new way to generate revenue. This model is designed to make the JTO token even more valuable and useful throughout the entire Jito network.
JTX Launch Brings Professional Trading Tools to Solana
As an analyst, I’ve been following Jito’s launch of JTX closely. They’ve positioned it as a new trading platform built on the same core technology that currently handles a significant amount of transactions on the Solana network. Essentially, they’re leveraging existing, proven infrastructure to create a dedicated trading venue.
From the start, the platform will offer trading for Solana’s current market prices, including tokens representing real-world assets. Future plans include adding perpetual futures and prediction markets.
JTX includes advanced trading features that traders often expect from centralized platforms.
As an analyst, I often see traders utilizing a variety of order types. These include limit orders, which execute at a specific price, and time-weighted average price (TWAP) orders, designed to spread out execution over time. Conditional orders allow trades based on specific criteria, and I also frequently observe the use of Smart Fills. Smart Fills are particularly useful because they break down larger trades into smaller pieces, helping to minimize any negative impact on the market price.
Jito reports that the platform measures how well trades are executed, comparing its performance to top traditional exchanges.
These comparisons show traders how much money they could save by using Solana’s on-chain transactions.
Solana DeFi Growth Supports the JTX Rollout
The JTX launch follows continued growth across the Solana DeFi ecosystem.
Just announced: Jito’s trading platform, JTX, is now live! This marks a major step for the Solana ecosystem, providing its first professional-level venue for decentralized finance (DeFi) trading.

Since late 2024, Solana has consistently been the top blockchain network for trading on decentralized exchanges and is also seeing increased interest in digital representations of real-world assets like stocks and commodities.
Recent market structure upgrades have also improved execution quality across the network.
Tokenized versions of real-world assets are becoming increasingly popular on the blockchain. On Solana, for example, billions of dollars worth of these digital tokens were traded last quarter, and over 300,000 wallets now hold them.
JTX is launching products for experienced traders who want precise trade executions and complete control over their funds, allowing them to hold and manage their own assets.

JTO Revenue Proposal Could Reshape Token Economics
Jito also linked the JTX launch to a new governance proposal known as JIP-38.
If the Jito DAO agrees, the plan is to use 80% of the income earned by the JTX system to increase the value of JTO.
The remaining 20% would fund continued platform development.
The plan includes automatically buying back and destroying JTO tokens for at least a year, after which the community will vote on whether to continue this process in late 2027.
JTX is adding to Jito’s existing products, which currently include the Jito Block Engine, jitoSOL, and the Block Assembly Marketplace.
Together, these products support a large share of Solana’s daily transaction activity.
Now that JTX is launched, Jito is broadening its services to include trading for everyday users, all while continuing to support the expanding world of decentralized finance on Solana and the increasing popularity of trading cryptocurrency directly on the blockchain.
