Cameron Diaz, 53, gets a glow-up as she’s back to her blonde bombshell image for Keanu Reeves movie

I was so surprised when Cameron Diaz stepped away from acting for ten years! It was amazing to see her prioritize family – she really focused on building a life with Benji Madden and their two little ones, and seemed completely happy nesting at home.

The 53-year-old star returned to acting with the 2025 Jamie Foxx film Back In Action.

The famous actress has returned to her classic blonde look for her latest film, where she stars alongside Keanu Reeves.

For her role as Kyle in Outcome, Diaz underwent a striking transformation, sporting long hair and glamorous makeup.

On Tuesday, new photos and a trailer for the upcoming Jonah Hill movie revealed she’s regained her status as a fashion icon.

Outcome is an upcoming American black comedy film directed and co-produced by Hill.

Also in the cast is Matt Bomer of White Collar fame and Diaz’s longtime pal Drew Barrymore.

The film is about Reef Hawk (Reeves), an actor who has been sober for five years. 

He has taken a break from acting to build his new home, and he takes pride in his progress in life. 

But everything changes when his lawyer, Ira Slitz, calls with shocking news: someone is threatening to release a compromising video of him, and is using it to blackmail him.

Reef tries to repair his relationships with people he’s hurt, hoping to uncover the identity of the blackmailer.

Diaz plays Kyle, Reef’s best friend with Bomer as pal Xander.

Reeves shared with Diaz and Bomer that he was hesitant to reveal his past struggles with addiction to the public. They both supported his decision to keep that information private.

Let me tell you, the cast for this project is incredible! We’ve got David Spade playing Buddy, and the amazing Laverne Cox as Virginia Allen Green. Rising star Kaia Gerber joins us as Oksana, and Roy Wood Jr. is fantastic as Reverend Leondrus Carter. And can you believe Susan Lucci is Dinah Hawk? It doesn’t stop there – the legendary Martin Scorsese himself is playing Richie ‘Red’ Rodriguez, a former agent who’s seen better days. It’s a truly dynamic group!

Apple TV+ picked up the film in April 2023. Directed by and starring Hill, it was shot in Los Angeles between March and May 2024.

Keanu Reeves and Cameron Diaz haven’t starred in a movie together since the 1996 drama, Feeling Minnesota.

Outcome is scheduled to be released by Apple TV on April 10, 2026.

Cameron Diaz stopped acting in Hollywood for ten years, following her appearance in the 2014 movie Annie.

After taking a ten-year break, she dedicated herself to her family and started a wine business. She then returned to acting in the 2025 Netflix movie, Back In Action, alongside Jamie Foxx.

She’s currently working on several upcoming movies, including the fifth Shrek film, a romantic comedy directed by Stephen Merchant, and a movie called Bad Day.
