These past few months have been incredible, and I’m really proud of the work we’ve done. It’s disappointing that not everyone will get to see it, but it doesn’t diminish how amazing the experience was. I want to thank Sarah Michelle Gellar, my fellow actresses, and Chloé Zhao. I love you all,” Armstrong said.

The 16-year-old actress finished her statement about the canceled ‘Buffy’ reboot by thanking longtime fans and everyone who supported the new version and her involvement. She also expressed gratitude to her fellow cast members, calling them awesome. Ultimately, she explained they revived the show for the fans, and because ‘Buffy’ means so much to everyone involved, she remains hopeful about what might happen with the series in the future.
