Get ready for more trouble! Theo James has confirmed that season 2 of The Gentlemen is completely finished and will be out soon.
The Netflix series centers around Eddie Horniman, the Duke of Halstead (played by James), who unexpectedly discovers a hidden marijuana operation when he inherits his father’s estate, Halstead Manor.
Praised by viewers as one of Netflix’s best shows in years (according to IMDb reviews), The Gentlemen is based on Guy Ritchie’s 2019 film of the same name. Ritchie also created the series, which premiered in 2024 and will return for a second season later this year, as reported by James.

The actor told TechRadar that the show will be released on the streaming service this fall.
He announced that they had finished filming season 2. They’re now editing and polishing it, with a release planned for the fall.
What to Read Next
James hinted that the next installment of the Halstead family’s story will be “darker,” as they move from the English countryside to the Italian lakes.
“It’s fun, and still funny. But it’s also darker, goes a little wild,” he said.
James acts alongside Kaya Scodelario, who plays Susie Glass, the leader of her father Bobby’s criminal organization. Daniel Ings plays Eddie’s brother, Freddy Horniman, and Joely Richardson plays their mother, Sabrina.
Richardson has talked about the unique setting for the second season, explaining that the new episodes will be more expansive and improved.

“I can say it’s bigger. It’s better,” she said last December during an appearance on This Morning.
The characters are even more over-the-top this time around. That includes Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, and Vinnie Jones – especially Vinnie, as I act alongside him. Director Guy Ritchie really went all out with this one, making everything bigger and bolder, she explained.
Regarding the broader plans for season two, Richardson mentioned they’ll be filming in locations outside of England, specifically Italy, which he described as a particularly exciting destination.
Season 2 of The Gentlemen will be available on Netflix this fall. You can currently watch Season 1 on Netflix as well.
