Brie Larson addresses MCU return for new Avengers movies
As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for Marvel Cinematic Universe and a soft spot for Captain Marvel (or should I say Carol Danvers?), hearing Brie Larson‘s latest tease has sent my adrenaline soaring! Her coy response about her potential return to the MCU leaves me both excited and frustrated – much like waiting for a rare boss drop in an MMO.
Actress Brie Larson, who played Captain Marvel, has mentioned the possibility of rejoining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in future Avengers films.
Discussing on The Playlist’s Bingeworthy podcast, Larson hinted at returning as Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers, expressing, “I have some info, but I’m sworn to secrecy.”
Inquired about potential future collaborations within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Larson hinted at the possibility of the cast from the film “The Marvels” working together again on a subsequent project.
According to Larson, spending time with those women was incredibly enjoyable for him. In fact, I wholeheartedly resonate with this feeling, and it aligns perfectly with my current state of mind. To put it simply, I don’t believe there’s a single hero capable of saving us all.
She went on to say: “Diverse individuals with unique talents are needed, and they should recognize that a single person cannot prevent catastrophe from occurring. It requires collective effort. This sense of unity resonates deeply within me. As for the future, there are things I am aware of, but I’m unable to share them with you.”
When asked more questions about the information she was reluctant to share, and if it could suggest her participation in the upcoming Avengers films titled Doomsday and Secret Wars, Larson remained secretive about her role.
She stated, “I am at a loss for words, and admitting that I don’t know anything might imply information exists, so instead, I’ll simply acknowledge that I can’t speak on the matter.”
In another conversation, Larson expressed her shock when it was revealed that Robert Downey Jr. would rejoin the MCU for Avengers 5, stating: “Let me make this clear. I had just spoken with Kevin [Feige]. It was almost as if he mentioned something about a Comic-Con event, but he certainly didn’t! Not at all!”
All four Avengers movies are streaming on Disney+.
