Brawl Stars x My Hero Academia Skin Challenge: Overview
I’m so excited! The My Hero Academia collab is finally here in the game! They’ve added a bunch of awesome skins – All Might as El Primo, Deku as Fang, Tomura Shigaraki as Gus, and Bakugo as Edgar. But the best part? You can actually earn the Uravity (Janet) skin for free just by completing the new in-game challenge! The other skins are available in the shop if you want to buy them, but getting Uravity for free is amazing!

To finish the challenge and get the skin and other rewards, you need to win a total of nine matches – three matches in each of the three stages. It’s a bit tough because you only start with four lives, but you can use Gems to buy more if you need them. It would be great if the lives were unlimited, though!
How to complete the Brawl Stars x My Hero Academia Skin Challenge event
The best thing about this challenge is how straightforward it is – you just need to complete three stages to get your rewards. Each stage requires three wins to move on, which can be tricky because you’re relying on teammates. Here’s a breakdown of the three stages, with some tips to help you complete them and claim all the rewards.
My Hero Academia Skin Challenge Stage 1: Knockout
Knockout mode is a game where you compete against another team in three rounds. The first team to win two rounds wins the match. Once you’re eliminated in a round, you’re out for the rest of it – there are no second chances or revivals.
During this phase, focus on heroes who can survive as well as deal damage. Good choices include Piper or Lola, as they can attack from a safe distance, or the new tank, Damian, or damage dealer, Najia. The map you’ll be playing on is Out in the Open.
My Hero Academia Skin Challenge Stage 2: Brawl Ball
Now, let’s talk about Brawl Ball! In this mode, you need to grab the ball and carry it to your opponent’s goal to score. The first team to score two goals wins. If the game goes into Overtime, all obstacles disappear, and whoever scores first takes the victory. This match takes place on the Spiraling Out map.
As I noted in my guide to Damian, he’s a strong choice for Brawl Ball. He can jump in to interrupt opponents and put them on the defensive. For even more team opportunities, consider using Sirius – he’s a reliable controller who can help set up plays.
My Hero Academia Skin Challenge Stage 3: Gem Grab
Okay, so after I beat stage three, I jumped into Gem Grab. Basically, it’s a match where my team and the other team have to collect ten gems to win. We have to hold onto them, though! If the time runs out, whoever has the most gems takes the victory. We were playing on the Gem Fort map, which was pretty cool.
If you’re aiming to quickly grab the Gems or move around the map fast, Max is a good choice. Artillery Brawlers like Juju can also work well, especially if you have strong frontline fighters like Ash or Damian. I prefer playing Controllers like Squeak or Sirius, because they can bother opponents from a safe distance.
Complete the Challenge and unlock Uravity: Janet skin for free
Don’t miss out on the new skin – be sure to finish all three parts of this challenge! As a bonus, you’ll also get 4 random Star Drops, 2 Chaos Drops, 2 Uravity: Janet-themed Sprays, and a Pin.
As I’ve mentioned with challenges like UNO or Mr. P’s Gym Rat, I don’t really like when games limit you to only four lives. It feels like you’re pushed to spend Gems because it’s unlikely most players will beat everything without losing at least a few lives.
