Brawl Stars x My Hero Academia crossover goes live with anime-inspired skins

  • Brawl Stars teams up with My Hero Academia
  • Skins inspired by Izuku Midoriya and others are now available
  • Challenge mode offers rewards like the Uravity-themed Janet skin

Just two weeks after hosting a concert by Electric Callboy, the mobile game Brawl Stars is diving into the world of anime! They’re celebrating 10 years of the popular series My Hero Academia with a special in-game event, featuring exclusive content available until May 5th.

This is the first time Brawl Stars has collaborated with a Japanese anime series, and it’s happening alongside the 10th anniversary of My Hero Academia. The collaboration features popular characters from My Hero Academia, with new skins based on Izuku Midoriya, All Might, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, and Tomura Shigaraki.

These aren’t just simple cosmetic changes. The designs really reflect each character’s personality and unique traits within the fast-paced action of Brawl Stars. The big new feature is a challenge mode where you progress by completing objectives, but you only have three lives to do it – making things more intense than usual.

If you fail, you’ll either have to start over or spend resources to continue. But if you succeed, you’ll earn cool rewards, like the Janet skin inspired by Uravity, which nicely connects this event to the game’s characters.

This collaboration feels perfectly timed. Celebrating ten years of My Hero Academia is a major milestone, and combining that with a game known for its fast-paced, character-focused battles is a great fit. It’s not a full story crossover, but it does bring elements of that world into a game designed for quick play sessions.

If you’re looking for the best characters to use in Brawl Stars and want to understand the current strongest strategies, our tier list can help.
