In this article, we’ll be exploring the latest character, Juju, a legendary brawler, who has joined the ranks of Brawl Stars. This artillery-style brawler made its debut on the battlefield on November 7, 2024. Players can unlock Juju by following the Starr Road, either for a cost of 349 Gems or 950 Credits. This guide will delve into Juju’s special abilities, gadgets, star powers, and gear, as well as provide useful tips to help you dominate the battlefield with this new addition in Brawl Stars.

In the game right now, Juju appears to be experiencing some issues due to her high base damage (1000), substantial health (3000), and standard reload speed and range. Her unique ability to launch environmentally-enhanced projectiles adds immense power, as these projectiles take on various characteristics based on their surroundings.

If you launch an attack from the grass, her attacking range expands, but the travel time of her attack also gets longer. Importantly, her base damage for a standard attack rises significantly, from 1600 to 2000, when she attacks from the ground.
Juju’s Super: From the Other Side
In another phrase, Juju’s special power, titled “From the Other Side“, calls forth her voodoo doll, Gris-Gris, in combat, much like how Nita summons the Big Boy Bear’s spirit. When no adversary is close, Gris-Gris will stick by Juju. However, once within range, it begins to hurl damaging needles.
These needles not only inflict significant harm but also impede the enemy’s progress, making it quite frustrating to deal with. As previously stated, the voodoo doll boasts a staggering 7200 HP at level 11, surpassing that of Juju herself, and it can traverse water as effortlessly as Juju does.
Tips for using Juju’s Super
- Take Advantage of Water: Try to stay on the water as much as possible, as that four-second slowdown it causes is very irritating for enemies. Plus, by attacking from water, you will be safe from the close-ranged and tanky brawlers, giving you a tactical advantage over them.
- Use Gris-Gris as a meat shield: With its impressive HP, Gris-Gris can take sufficient damage, so make to take advantage of it. Position your voodoo doll strategically to protect yourself and it can also be a great distraction. Additionally, it also provides extra firepower to overpower your enemy.
- Spam her Elemental Energy Attack: The key is to spam her attack as much as possible while taking advantage of the environment. You can hide in the grass for long-range attacks, or use the ground to increase your attack damage.

Gadget
Voodoo Chile
Once Juju’s primary assault is triggered, it harnesses the strength of all three elements, thereby extending its reach, boosting its damage output, and applying a four-second debuff that slows down enemies, no matter where you are located.
Elementalist
With this device in play, Juju temporarily enhances her abilities depending on the terrain she’s situated on. The enhancements are as follows:
- Earth: Damage reduction
- Grass: Invisibility
- Water: Increased movement speed
Star Power
Guarded Gris-Gris
This star power summons Gris-Gris with a protective shield.
Numbing Needles
In a more straightforward manner, Gris-Gris’ assault now temporarily slows down opponents for a second, mirroring Juju’s primary attack effect when used from water.

Gadget Charge Gear
Given Juju’s gadgets have a significant power, incorporating the Gadget Charge accessory into her setup is beneficial because it boosts the number of gadget uses per fight by 1. This extra use provides additional chances to alter the course of battles with your Voodoo Child and Elementalist gizmo.
Health Gear
Since Juju’s Health Points (HP) at level 11 are only 6000, the Health Gear becomes extremely beneficial because it enables more efficient HP recovery during fights by an additional 50%. Utilizing this item alongside your Super can extend your survival in battles and help maintain your superiority in combat.
Shield Gear
Since Juju is a brawler specialized in artillery, having the Shield Gear can be quite beneficial because it offers an extra 900 HP as a temporary shield. This feature works well against both close-range and tanky opponents, providing you with a chance to reorganize your position, particularly when your Super is on cool down.
As a battle-hardened enthusiast, I find myself basking in relief whenever my protective barrier automatically recharges in just 10 seconds, granting me extended combat opportunities.
