As a seasoned Brawl Stars player with countless hours under my belt, I must say that Clancy has truly captured my heart (or should I say shell?). This new mythic brawler is a game-changer, and not just because he’s part of the deep sea trio.

Clancy’s Passive/trait: Tokens

Just like Surge, Clancy progresses by earning tokens whenever he strikes enemies. As these tokens accumulate, he automatically levels up, reaching a maximum of level 3. Both his regular attacks and super abilities generate tokens, although it takes longer for Clancy to level compared to Surge. Unlike Surge’s upgrades, which are reset upon defeat, Clancy retains his upgrades even when defeated. The number of tokens is capped, and as he levels up, his movement speed also increases.

Clancy’s Attack: Power Wash

• Level 1: Fires a single paintball, dealing damage to enemies.
• Level 2: Upgrades to a dual-shot, firing two paintballs in a straight line.
• Level 3: Unleashes a quadruple-shot, adding two diagonal paintballs to the original dual-shot attack, resulting in a total of four paintballs.

Clancy’s Super: Torrent

As Clancy progresses to higher levels, his exceptional skill, similar to his regular attack, can also be enhanced for greater potency. This is how it functions:

• Level 1: Fires two streams of paintballs that move outward from his reticle and then converge back to the centre, releasing a total of 16 paintballs.
• Level 2: Increases the attack range, allowing each paintball to travel farther and cover a wider area.
• Level 3: Boosts the damage of each paintball by 50%, making his super even more devastating.

Tips for using Clancy’s Super

Zone Denial

• Use the increased range at level 2 to deny enemies access to certain areas. This can be especially useful in modes like Gem Grab or Brawl Ball where controlling specific areas is crucial.

Maximize Damage:

• At level 3, Clancy’s super boosts the damage of each paintball by 50%. Use this to your advantage by targeting high-health brawlers or enemy turrets. The increased damage can quickly turn the tide of battle in your favour.
