Brawl Stars Balance Changes March 2026: All Buffs & Nerfs

Brawl Stars received a new update with balance changes on March 31, 2026, right before the start of the Dragons And Faeries season on April 2.

These recent changes – buffs and nerfs – are designed to create a fairer game by preventing any single group of Brawlers from becoming too powerful. They also aim to help weaker Brawlers stay competitive in both ranked and regular game modes.

The complete update to game balance is now available, and we’re going to go through all the changes closely.

We’re performing maintenance shortly to implement new balance adjustments and a minor bug fix! Here’s what’s changing:

All of March’s Balance Changes for Brawl Stars, Listed

The balance adjustments in March mainly focused on reducing the power of several Brawlers. These changes, called ‘nerfs,’ particularly affected newer characters like Glowy and Najia, impacting their stats and abilities.

Meanwhile, only two buffs were implemented. These affected Clancy and Gigi.

A bug affecting Spike’s Popping Pincushion Gadget has been fixed. Previously, the buffed gadget actually did less damage than the unbuffed one. This has been corrected, and now the buffed version deals more damage.

Bibi	Super charge rate decreased from 100 → 90 Hypercharge rate decreased from 50 → 40 Vitamin Booster Gadget cooldown increased from 15 seconds → 20 seconds
Bull	Base HP decreased from 5,300 → 5,000 Hypercharge rate decreased from 35 → 30 Hypercharge damage falloff for Main Attack increased to 50% Stomper Gadget slow and stun duration decreased from 2 seconds → 1 second
Crow	Projectile speed from Main Attack decreased from 3,600 → 3,261 Insta Poison Gadget cooldown increased from 15 seconds → 20 seconds
Emz	Acid Spray Gadget cooldown increased from 12 seconds → 16 seconds Friend Zoner Gadget damage decreased from 500 → 250
Glowy	Main Attack range decreased from 24 → 20
Najia	First hit damage from Main Attack decreased from 400 →300 Second hit damage from Main Attack decreased from 800 → 600

We expect the next round of balance updates to go live when the new Brawl Stars season begins in May 2026.
