Brad Pitt fans SLAM his mustache and ‘weird wig’ worn in The Adventures Of Cliff Booth trailer: ‘Angelina Jolie must be laughing her head off’

The first trailer for Brad Pitt’s upcoming movie, The Adventures of Cliff Booth, was released during Super Bowl Sunday.

Fans weren’t impressed with the 62-year-old actor’s new appearance, which included a mustache reminiscent of the 1970s and a comical blonde wig.

Brad Pitt didn’t look as polished as he did when he played stuntman Cliff Booth in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood. The Adventures of Cliff Booth is a continuation of that story.

Okay, seriously, everyone’s saying the same thing – we NEED Brad Pitt to be, well, Brad Pitt! Like, hot Brad! One person on X totally nailed it – they said we want to see him looking good, not…not at all! And another one? They actually messaged him saying his sex appeal was missing from the movie! It’s true! They were so right! I mean, where was it?! It was a tragedy, honestly, a total tragedy. We need the classic Brad, that’s all I’m saying!

Brad Pitt wore a wig to play the character again because he had cut his hair short before filming. The wig seemed to be the biggest issue for many fans, with one person on X (formerly Twitter) asking, “Why would Brad Pitt ever wear a wig? How did this happen?”

One Reddit user commented that Angelina Jolie is likely finding the situation amusing. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were married from 2014 to 2019.

Okay, look, I know people say it’s shallow, but Brad Pitt? He’s just… unfairly attractive. Seriously! From the moment I saw him in ‘A River Runs Through It,’ I was hooked – that face! And it’s not just about looks, though. He knows how to use them, even in something recent like ‘F1.’ He just has this… presence, and let’s be real, a huge part of his success is because he’s absolutely gorgeous on screen. I mean, come on!

I’m so excited about the new Cliff Booth movie! It’s got an amazing cast – Scott Caan, Elizabeth Debicki, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Carla Gugino, Holt McCallany, and even JB Tadena are all in it. I can’t wait to see them all together!

Timothy Olyphant is reprising his Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood role of James Stacy.

The film was shot on-location in Los Angeles.

The trailer opens with Booth meeting Debicki and Abdul-Mateen II’s characters.

There’s a moment in the film where he places an Oscar statue on his desk, referencing his win for Best Actor for his performance in Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood.

The hunky stunt double was first introduced in Tarantino’s original movie in 2019.

This spinoff is directed by Pitt’s longtime friend David Fincher and written by Tarantino.

Brad Pitt and David Fincher most recently collaborated on the 2008 film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. They previously worked together on the acclaimed movies Se7en and Fight Club.

The story of Cliff Booth is set in the 1970s. It’s currently unclear if Leonardo DiCaprio will reprise his role as Rick Dalton with a brief appearance.

Okay, so Deadline said – and I’ve been checking constantly, obviously – that the show is going to follow Brad Pitt’s character, Cliff Booth, after the movie. Apparently, it’s all about what he does as a ‘fixer’ for a Hollywood studio. I’m SO ready to see what he gets up to next, it’s been too long!

Tarantino serves as a producer alongside Pitt, David Heyman, Ceán Chaffin and Stacey Sher.

Frequent Fincher collaborator Erik Messerschmidt serves as the film’s director of photography.
