Bloodborne, Elden Ring Dev Won’t Be Releasing Its Next Big Game on PS5
Among the intriguing reveals during today’s Nintendo Switch 2 Direct is a fresh title from FromSoftware: The Duskbloods. This new game carries strong echoes of Bloodborne and Elden Ring, and it’s noteworthy that it hails from the Japanese studio as a multiplayer-focused game, which might come as a surprise to some. You can watch the reveal trailer here.
It’s worth noting that an additional surprise lies in the fact that The Duskbloods will only be available on the Nintendo Switch 2, set to release in 2026.
According to the YouTube description, only one person will weep at the moon when “The Duskbloods,” a fresh multiplayer game by FromSoftware, launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. This project is being led by Hidetaka Miyazaki himself.
Similar to how Sony secured unique gaming adventures with Bloodborne on PlayStation 4 and Demon’s Souls on PlayStation 3, the developer is now aiming for the upcoming Nintendo handheld console. You’ll likely require the Nintendo Switch 2 next year to enjoy this game.
