Bindi Irwin’s husband Chandler Powell left ‘exhausted’ as he runs Australia Zoo while Robert basks in the international spotlight

Chandler Powell, Bindi Irwin’s husband, is said to be struggling after spending months primarily managing Australia Zoo while his brother-in-law, Robert Irwin, has been gaining international recognition and traveling the world.

Let me tell you, balancing life and career can be tough. Apparently, Chandler, 29, was really feeling the strain at the end of last year – totally exhausted and a little overlooked, if I’m being honest. His partner, Robert, 22, has been getting incredible TV opportunities, taking him all over the world – recently to South Africa! – which meant Chandler was left holding down the fort back home, taking on a lot more responsibility. It’s a classic case of differing paths and the challenges that brings, you know?

‘Chandler has been working nonstop to keep the zoo going,’ an insider claimed.

He’s completely worn out, feeling like he works incredibly hard at home to honor and continue Steve’s work.

Chandler works incredibly hard and contributes far more than most people realize.

Chandler and Robert have always been very close friends, but people who know them say their relationship is starting to strain as Robert gets busier with acting and entertainment jobs.

According to a source, he worries Robert has become a bit too caught up in the glamorous side of fame, but Robert himself doesn’t agree.

According to sources, things became difficult for the Irwin family when Chandler and Terri had to leave Australia Zoo for three months last year to support Robert during his appearance on the American version of Dancing With The Stars.

Bindi is stuck in the middle of a conflict between her husband and brother and is doing her best to handle it. She recently planned a trip to Tasmania with Chandler hoping they can relax and de-stress.

Sources say the Wildlife Warrior is hoping things will work out on their own, and feels positive because Chandler and Robert have always been very close.

Robert is currently in South Africa getting ready to film the new season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, which will begin airing on January 18th.

As usual, he will be hosting the reality show with long-time jungle presenter Julia Morris.

I was so excited when Robert took over hosting in Season 10 back in 2024! He really stepped into some big shoes, taking the role from Dr. Chris Brown, but he’s been fantastic!
