BGMI teams up with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 4.3 update, bringing IPL cricket celebrations into the battleground

BGMI is joining the cricket craze with a new partnership! KRAFTON India has teamed up with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), the three-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champions. Players will be able to experience the collaboration within the game as part of the BGMI 4.3 update, launching on March 25, 2026.

The latest PUBG Mobile 4.3 update includes a new Evolving Universe mode, a collaboration with Jujutsu Kaisen, and events celebrating the game’s 8th anniversary. Seeing all the fun happening globally, BGMI decided to bring similar excitement to players in India.

This collaboration lets you unlock special Kolkata Knight Riders items to use in the game. You’ll be able to get the Knight Dominion Set outfit, and there’s also an Eden Charge Buggy vehicle skin available.

We’re adding new Photo Booths to the game in certain locations on the Erangel and Livik maps. These are called KKR Photo Booth Points of Interest and will be available during matches you play on those maps.

Seddharth Merrotra, Head of Business Development and Partnerships at KRAFTON India, explained the collaboration between Kolkata Knight Riders and BGMI, saying they aimed for more than just visual changes. He stated, “We’ve integrated the Knight Riders directly into the gameplay experience, allowing players to feel their presence during matches. This is the level of immersion we want to achieve with all our sports partnerships in BGMI.”

BGMI previously partnered with the Mumbai Indians, a five-time IPL champion. It’s a well-timed collaboration, as the IPL is about to begin, cricket is incredibly popular in India, and BGMI remains a leading mobile game. This partnership benefits both by boosting their visibility.

The big 4.3 update for BGM is scheduled for March 19, 2026, but the special collaboration event will launch the following week. This update also introduces the Evolving Universe mode, with new features like Energy Shields and Vehicle Nitrous Boosts.
