Throughout their adventures, the Warrior of Light meets many people, but only a handful can be considered true equals. While they make many friends and fight alongside helpful allies, none of them share the same responsibility of protecting the world.

Estinien is a rare character in Final Fantasy 14 who shares a similar struggle with the player, as he’s the Azure Dragoon and also wields the power of the Eye of Nidhogg against the Dravanian Horde. After the events of the Heavensward expansion, he consistently steps up to help the Warrior of Light and the Scions, always being one of the first to fight. And seriously, Square Enix, let us have a romance option with Estinien!
