Beetlejuice steals show in Hot Ones parody with Michael Keaton for upcoming sequel

As a devoted fan of Tim Burton’s peculiar and whimsical universe, I must say that the recent Hot Ones parody featuring Beetlegeuse is an absolute delight! The way they’ve brought back this iconic character, with his zany humor and unquenchable thirst for hot sauce, has me grinning from ear to ear.

In a fun spoof video shared by Warner Bros. Pictures on YouTube on Monday, Beetlejuice outshone Michael Keaton during their interview.

The promotional video for the upcoming sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice opened with Betelgeuse in his striped suit and tie chugging a bottle of hot sauce and burping.

As a devoted enthusiast, I was privy to the unveiling of ‘Not Ones’ emblem, accompanied by the resonant sound of a rooster’s crow, when Michael, at 72, warmly greeted and ushered in Betelgeuse for our captivating interview.

‘How long is this gonna take? I have to get to the spa,’ Betelgeuse said.

Betelgeuse poured hot sauce on his ribs as Michael asked him who were some of his influences.

“Indeed, old chap, I’ve always had a soft spot for the great Napoleon. And let’s not forget young Justin Bieber, who simply can’t be beat!”

Betelgeuse remarked, “Caligula was quite the wild character, I must admit,” as he munched and carelessly discarded his scraps.

Michael tried to point out some hot sauce on his guest’s face, but soon gave up.

The interview moved on to The Juice Is Loose brand of hot sauce as Michael upped the ante.

As one who has traversed the mystical cosmic expanse for more than six centuries, have you paused to ponder the boundless character of time, Michael inquired?

‘Nope!,’ Betelgeuse replied.

Michael asked Betelgeuse about the taste of the ribs.

As I find myself transported back to a charming eatery in Seattle, I can’t help but feel a sense of deja vu, almost as if I’m reliving the delightful meal I once enjoyed there.

Betelgeuse then farted and told Michael that he had a question for him.

‘Who the hell are you?,’ Betelgeuse asked.

Instead of responding, Michael chose to depart while Betelgeuse continued to gulp down hot sauce directly from the bottle.

The video was a parody of the Hot Ones talk show on YouTube hosted by Sean Evans, 38, which features celebrity guests answering questions while eating increasingly spicy chicken wings.

The movie “Beetlejuice” from Warner Bros. Pictures will hit U.S. theaters on September 6.

In simple terms, Tim Burton’s latest work, a blend of fantasy, comedy, and horror at age 66, serves as a follow-up to the 1988 film “Beetlejuice,” where Michael Keaton took on the lead role portraying the title character.

In the follow-up film, once again helmed by Burton, we find Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara reprising their roles alongside a familiar face known as Michael. Newcomers to the cast include Jenna Ortega, Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, and Willem Dafoe.

In this new movie, the plot unfolds 36 years following the incidents of Beetlejuice, focusing on the Deetz clan as they go back to Winter River, a place they visited again due to the surprising demise of Charles Deetz, portrayed by Jeffrey Jones in his 70s.

Jenna plays Astrid Deetz, the teenage daughter of Winona’s character, Lydia Deetz.

On Wednesday, the 81st Venice International Film Festival will kick off with Beetlejuice Beetlejuice at Venice Lido, Italy.
