I’m so excited! The third season of The Capture is almost here! It’s finally premiering this Sunday at 9pm, and honestly, it feels like forever – the last season was back in 2022. But from what I’ve heard, the wait is going to be totally worth it!
A recent interview with Ben Chanan, the BAFTA-winning creator of The Capture, has generated a lot of buzz. He told Radio Times that the third episode of the current season is their best yet, calling it “the best episode we’ve ever made.”
Viewers will need to be patient for the next installment, as the BBC will be releasing episodes of The Capture‘s third season one per week.
What to Read Next
The first episode will be available on BBC iPlayer at 6am on Sunday. If you prefer watching on TV, it will also air on BBC One at 9pm. After that, new episodes will be released every Sunday on both BBC iPlayer and BBC One.

In the new season of The Capture, Holliday Grainger reprises her role as Rachel Carey, now promoted to Acting Commander of Counter Terrorism Command. Determined to rebuild public confidence in surveillance technology after the events of previous seasons, Carey focuses on implementing a new camera system.
Season three explores a challenging question: how do we defend the truth when lies are so common? With the rise of convincing fake videos and images, it also asks how we can be sure of what’s real.
Carey quickly becomes trapped in a dangerous and escalating conflict. As she loses people she can rely on, the story hints at difficult choices and the question of how far she’ll go to survive.
The show features a fantastic cast, including Paapa Essiedu (known from Gangs of London) as Isaac Turner and Indira Varma (Doctor Who) as news presenter Khadija Khan. Ginny Holder (Death in Paradise), Ben Miles (The Crown), Lia Williams (The Day of the Jackal), and Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy) also star, alongside newcomers Andrew Buchan (Broadchurch) and Killian Scott (Dublin Murders).
The Capture fans have lots to look forward to…
The Capture season 3 will begin on Sunday 8 March at 9pm on BBC One.
The latest issue of Living Legends, a vibrant, full-color magazine celebrating Taylor Swift, is now available! You can find it in newsagents or order it online for only £8.99.
