Okay, so I was stoked to hear that Two Doors Down is coming back! It’s been three years since we last got a full season, and honestly, I thought it might not happen. For those who don’t know, it’s a hilarious sitcom set in a normal suburban street in Glasgow, and it first hit our screens way back in 2013. I’m really looking forward to seeing what the neighbours are up to now!
After seemingly ending in 2023 with the death of its co-creator, Simon Carlyle, the show surprised everyone with a Christmas special last year. Now, it’s returning for a complete eighth season, continuing the story right where the special left off.
I absolutely love how Beth and Eric, played by Arabella Weir and Alex Norton, are just trying to have a peaceful life, but it’s impossible! Their nosy and chaotic neighbours – Colin, Cathy, and Christine – constantly disrupt everything. It’s hilarious watching them try to cope with all the madness!

Michelle, played by Joy McAvoy, is getting ready for a baby, while Gordon (Kieran Hodgson) focuses on his studies. Meanwhile, Alan (Graeme Stevely) and Ian (Jamie Quinn) are both trying to help their significant others.
The BBC has hinted that the new episodes will immediately immerse viewers back into the tense and recognizable setting of Latimer Crescent.
