Baywatch hunk David Chokachi, 58, proves he is still buff as he shows off his body in Malibu before filming reboot

This popular actor became well-known in the 1990s after starring in the hit TV show Baywatch, a drama about lifeguards.

David Chokachi showed off his impressive physique on Sunday while in Malibu. He was spotted without a shirt, wearing camo swim trunks over black bike shorts.

The 58-year-old actor was enjoying a paddle boarding session on the pristine shore.

Oh my gosh, you guys, did you SEE him?! His abs were absolutely incredible – seriously sculpted! And those legs… so muscular! I was completely mesmerized by all his tattoos, too. He was stretching with this bright red band, and honestly, even that looked amazing on him. I couldn’t take my eyes off him, every muscle was just… perfect!

Chokachi will be in the Baywatch reboot which debuts in the fall on Fox.

He’ll be acting alongside Shay Mitchell, Brooks Nader, Hassie Harrison, Noah Beck, Livvy Dunne, and Stephen Amell.

The new Baywatch series centers on Hobie Buchannon (played by Amell), the son of the original star Mitch Buchannon (David Hasselhoff), who steps into the role of Captain.

Mitch Buchannon’s world is turned upside down when he discovers he has a daughter, Jessica, who joins his lifeguard team. Her arrival brings challenging rescues, emotional complications, and a fresh wave of young lifeguards to the California beaches.

The series is a ‘modern reimagining’ with a straight-to-series, 12-episode order.

Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, and Doug Schwartz, the original creators, are executive producing the new series to maintain the feel of the original, and Matt Nix is overseeing the show as showrunner.

The upcoming show aims to capture the same sunny, California vibe as the original. Plans for a revival first surfaced in August 2018, when Deadline Hollywood announced that FremantleMedia International was considering bringing the series back.

Chokachi portrayed Cody Madison on the original Baywatch, which began airing on NBC in 1989.

The popular show ran for eleven seasons and continued to be watched in reruns until May 2001.

On the show starring David Hasselhoff, Chokachi’s character had romantic relationships with the characters played by Carmen Electra and Pamela Anderson.

He later took over the role of David Charvet as one of the show’s main actors and stayed with the series for four seasons before moving on to other projects.

Tiffany Smith, known for her role in Witchblade, has been married to Susan Brubaker since 2004. They have one daughter together named Brit Madison.
