Carmen Electra, known for her glamorous looks in the 90s, made a striking impression at the Philipp Plein Oscars party in Los Angeles on Saturday night with a bold and revealing outfit.
The 53-year-old actress wore a revealing, nearly nude-colored dress completely covered in sparkling gems. The dress had a very low neckline, showcasing her enhanced cleavage.
The dress was incredibly revealing and featured a high slit, revealing her long legs and tall platform heels.
Nearly thirty years after gaining fame as Lani McKenzie on Baywatch, Carmen still appeared remarkably young, enhancing her smooth complexion with elegant makeup, including a striking smoky eye.
Tara Leigh Patrick, a model, had breast augmentation surgery in the 1990s. She was encouraged to have the procedure by a friend who already had implants, who believed it would positively impact her life.
I remember reading that, back in 2010, she told Fabulous magazine it actually took her a while to feel comfortable with her figure – the one she’s now so famous for! It was really relatable to hear her say that.
She remembered having breast surgery more than ten years ago that increased her bra size from a 32B to a DD, and it took some getting used to.
Honestly, I went a little overboard, didn’t I? It’s amazing not having to worry about… well, you know, the extra support anymore, but looking back, I probably could have just chilled. I really didn’t need to go so far with it all.
‘I think I was fine the way I was. I had nice breasts before – though they were small.’
Carmen claims she’s never had plastic surgery, attributing her youthful appearance to a healthy lifestyle: a consistent diet, drinking lots of water, and a skincare regimen she’s followed for two decades.
In a 2020 interview with the Daily Mail, she admitted that in Hollywood, people are often surprised when she shares her true story, as there’s an expectation that women typically undergo cosmetic procedures.
I haven’t had any surgery, and I believe my youthful look is thanks to consistently following a good skincare routine.
However, the former Playboy star clarified she’s still open to the possibility of surgery. She also emphasized that she supports cosmetic procedures for anyone who believes they’ll boost their confidence.
She shared that she’s currently content with her lifestyle and feels it’s effective. Regarding cosmetic surgery, she believes everyone deserves the freedom to express themselves without facing criticism.
Carmen did have one piece of advice for those thinking about surgery: she stressed the importance of taking your time and exploring all available options before making a decision.
She believes it’s important not to rush life, especially when it comes to beauty and self-care. She encourages people to explore all the wonderful options available today – whether surgical or non-surgical – and to approach these things with love and care, as that’s the key to feeling good about the results.
Besides taking care of her skin, she believes her good looks come from drinking lots of water and staying away from things like caffeine, alcohol, and sugar, which she considers harmful.
“I really believe in drinking enough water!” she explained. “It’s amazing how water can naturally moisturize your skin, and it’s something a lot of people overlook.”
‘I also try to stay away from items that damage your skin like caffeine, soda, and alcohol.’
She previously shared some of her beauty and anti-aging tips with NewBeauty, highlighting how crucial it is to stay hydrated by drinking lots of water.
I’ve always enjoyed taking care of my skin, and now I keep my routine simple with just a few essential products. When I started prioritizing drinking enough water and actually made it enjoyable, I saw a big improvement.
I started feeling healthier, and my skin looked great. I still enjoy a treat now and then, though!
Carmen started her career as a singer after relocating to Minneapolis and meeting Prince in the early 1990s.
Oh my gosh, he discovered her! He actually signed her to Paisley Park Records, can you believe it?! And not only that, he produced her very first album in ’93! But the best part? He’s the one who gave her that incredible stage name – it’s just perfect for her, and I can’t imagine her with anything else. He truly shaped her career from the very beginning, and I’ll always be grateful for that!
Electra began modeling and appeared in Playboy Magazine five times starting in 1996. The following year, she landed a role on the popular TV show Baywatch.
Variety reports that Fox has officially greenlit a Baywatch reboot, which is scheduled to premiere during the 2026-2027 television season.
The popular show about lifeguards in Los Angeles, which ran from 1989 to 2001, became a global hit and launched the careers of actors like Pamela Anderson, David Hasselhoff, and Carmen Electra.
A revamped version of the show will premiere with 12 episodes during the 2026-27 TV season. It will be produced by Fox Entertainment and Fremantle.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m excited about the new ‘Baywatch’ series! Stephen Amell is taking the lead as Hobie Buchannon, actually the son of the original Mitch Buchannon played by David Hasselhoff. He’s joined by a fantastic cast including Shay Mitchell, Hassie Harrison, Jessica Belkin, Noah Beck, and Thaddeus LaGrone – it’s going to be a fun watch!
Livvy Dunne, a former LSU gymnast, and TV personality Brooks Nader will also be featured, alongside David Chokachi, who is reprising his role as Cody Madison from the original series.
The story picks up with Hobie some time after the original series, and his life is turned upside down when his daughter, Charlie, shows up wanting to follow in the family’s footsteps as a lifeguard.
When TMZ asked Carmen about potentially appearing in a reboot, she said it ‘could be fun.’
The actress, known for her role in Scary Movie, admitted she wasn’t sure she’d want to go in the ocean, even though she enjoys being near it.
‘Working in it is very different. When you’re working in the ocean, it is very complicated.’
The actress revealed she can still perform the iconic slow-motion run and feels great in the swimsuit from the scene. However, she joked that she might prefer to be on the boat as captain instead of in the water this time around.
