Bare Skin begins with a therapy group led by Dr. Hedonia (Alig). The patients start sharing their past traumas, revealing the disturbing experiences they’ve endured.

As I watched, the story kept unfolding, and the link between the characters became increasingly unsettling. It really forced them to confront some deeply buried pain, and deal with traumas in ways I didn’t anticipate – it was a powerful journey of overcoming the past.

Verdict on Bare Skin

Recap

The film centers around a support group for people who have experienced trauma. As they share their stories, they realize there’s a hidden reason why this particular group was formed, and they begin to unravel the mystery behind it.

Best Parts

The sense of the bigger connections keeps us wanting to know why they have been brought together.

Worst Parts

Honestly, this movie just dragged on. While it clearly tried to capture the dark, twisted vibe of the Saw games, the individual stories felt pointless and didn’t really add up to much. It spent so much time building towards something big that it forgot to actually be thrilling. I found myself waiting for things to happen instead of being genuinely scared or engaged.

Where to Watch

Bare Skin is on UK digital 23 February from Miracle Media

Final Thoughts Bare Skin is an overly long thriller with little suspense.
