Bandai reveals powerful new Elden Ring starter class, and he’s dumb as rocks

While Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition might struggle to perform well on the Nintendo Switch 2, it’s expected that its forthcoming update will introduce two fresh starting character classes once it is eventually released.

Although FromSoftware refrained from showing footage of the updated game during Gamescom, Bandai Namco took the initiative to reveal a brief clip of one of the game’s forthcoming new classes. Despite being powerful, it won’t be acing its GCSEs any time soon.

Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition class leaks

According to a post from Bandai Namco on TikTok, the latest starting character class for Elden Ring boasts impressive strength. This character, whose specific class title remains unannounced yet, exhibits formidable power and initial statistics as follows:

1. Vigor: 14
2. Mind: 10
3. Endurance: 15
4. Strength: 16
5. Dexterity: 10
6. Intelligence: 9
7. Faith: 11
8. Arcane: 8

This powerhouse knight character is sure to make an impact in the world of Elden Ring!

  • Level: 8
  • Vigor: 14
  • Mind: 7
  • Endurance: 17
  • Strength: 15
  • Dexterity: 11
  • Intelligence: 7
  • Faith: 7
  • Arcane: 9

It’s evident that the latest class demonstrates exceptional strength and stamina, making it an excellent foundation for melee-oriented characters. Yet, its unusually low mental and intellectual attributes give it a reputation as one of the less intelligent classes in the game. Sadly, this character might struggle even with simple tasks like tying his own shoelaces.

Indeed, one of two categories set to debut in Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition includes this massive, burly character. Reminiscent of the goofy ghost from Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, there’s another knight in the mix, who initially carries the Milady Light Greatsword – a weapon that was once considered an endgame prize.

It appears that the Tarnished Edition is expected to arrive with a significant adjustment in its balance when it’s finally launched. The release date is set for this year, but considering the remaining time, it might be quite soon.
