Xbox Game Studios and Obsidian Entertainment have revealed that Avowed will be released on PlayStation 5 on February 17th, along with a major update. This update adds New Game Plus, a new weapon, a Photo Mode, more character customization options, and additional settings to enhance gameplay.
The new RPG, Avowed, is out now for Xbox Series X|S and PC. Final Weapon gave it a 2/5 rating, saying that while the gameplay can be addictive, the game doesn’t live up to Obsidian’s usual high standards. They criticized the weak story, uninspired dialogue, lack of impactful choices, and the amount of repetitive grinding needed to progress, along with several technical problems. Ultimately, they feel it falls short when compared to other popular RPGs like Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur’s Gate 3.
