In this walkthrough, I’ll be taking you on a tour of the entire Dawnshore map in the initial zone of Avowed, pointing out key spots we’ll encounter along the way! Let’s dive in and explore together!

Avowed Dawnshore Map

The Map of Dawnshore Openly Declared primarily showcases a forested terrain that is generally accessible for travel. However, it’s essential to note that despite its openness, it’s not without potential perils. Bandits, wild beasts, Xaurips, and the Dreamscourge can be encountered in diverse spots beyond the town boundaries in the surrounding wilderness.

Notable Dawnshore Locations

Here are some of the notable locations you’ll visit in Dawnshore.

Castol’s Folly

At Castol’s Folly, you’ll find a band of smugglers. During the Dawnshore Side Quest titled “Precious Light,” you’re due for a visit there. Keep in mind that numerous combat-ready humans might be waiting for you on this island should you decide to go.

Claviger’s Landing

At Claviger’s Dock, where your gaming adventure initiates, lies Gianna’s Cargo, essential for the side quest “A Lady Never Tells” in Dawnshore. Additionally, a few stores with restricted supplies can be found here, offering temporary aid until you finish the Main Story Quest “Message from Afar,” which grants access to Paradis.

Dehengen’s Cottage

At Dehengen’s Humble Abode dwells Dehengen, a lady in dire need of assistance. She finds herself besieged by the Xaurips, as they intrude upon her home during the Dawnshore Side Quest titled “Cabin Fever.

Godless Altar

At the Atheist’s Shrine, you’ll discover the initial piece of Star Metal, a valuable artifact that allows you to craft one or two exclusive items once you arrive at Shatterscarp, the fourth region on your journey.

Be aware that the opponents here are significantly stronger compared to those on the western side of Dawnshore. It would be prudent to wait until you’ve improved your gear to a Finer Quality before proceeding into this region.

Paradis

In Dawnshore, Paradise serves as the primary town. You can’t explore any area within Paradise until you finish the main story quest titled “A Message from Afar.” This involves locating both the Ambassador and the Claviger in The Strangleroot.

Paradis Hightown

In the heart of the city of Paradis lies Hightown, a self-contained district with its unique map and quick transportation spots. Various merchants in this area offer top-tier goods, including exclusive items, and there are numerous opportunities to embark on side missions.

Pargrun Cache

The Pargrun Caches contain various handy items inside them. These caches are scattered all over The Living Lands.

Pargrun Caches have a stock of helpful provisions within them. You can find these caches distributed across The Living Lands.

Pilgrim’s Path

Following the Pilgrim’s Trail leads you to antiquated remnants, a sanctuary dedicated to Eothas, one of the multiple deities in this world. Your journey here is linked to the quest titled “Dawntreader.” Keep in mind that your stay at this location could last around an hour in real-time, so ensure you’re well-prepared before setting off.

Runyd’s House

Runyd’s Residence serves as a dwelling for the Watcher Runyd; during your visit, she can share insights into your previous existences within the narrative.

Shantytown

A shantytown, as the name implies, is essentially a temporary settlement made up of improvised dwellings located on the outskirts of Paradis. It’s one of the areas you can visit prior to finishing the main story quest titled “Message from Afar.

Here, you’ll find several promising side missions suitable for the early stages, such as the mission titled “The Escape Plan.

Shrine to Woedica

At the Sanctuary of Woedica lies the Emblem of the Bound Oath, an artifact that when placed in your Campsite, bestows a bonus upon you after gathering all fragments of the lost Totem.

The Strangleroot

After establishing your initial camp, the Strangleroot becomes the key place to explore next. Your primary mission, titled “Message from Afar,” mandates a journey there to save both the Ambassador and the Claviger following a botched expedition.
