Right from the start, The Handmaid’s Tale doesn’t shy away from difficult topics. The show explores issues like the mistreatment of women, unequal power dynamics, and how society can control people – themes that sadly reflect real-life experiences for many. Even with some criticism, it remains one of the most important and timely TV series available.

The animated series based on The Boys, which premiered in March 2022 with eight episodes, featured standalone stories set in the same world as the live-action show, complete with its characteristic violence and edgy humor. While fans hoped for a second season, it seemed unlikely. Last October, Eric Kripke, an executive producer on The Boys, indicated that the show probably wouldn’t return because not enough people watched it.

BTS, the globally popular K-Pop group, just released a trailer on Netflix for their concert movie, BTS the Comeback Live: Arirang. The trailer shows all seven members – RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jimin, and Jung Kook – sounding thrilled and moved about performing again. BTS the Comeback Live: Arirang will be a live broadcast of their concert in Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Square on March 21st. K-Pop fans are excited, and Netflix is expected to see a boost in viewership from the event.

GKIDS has announced it will distribute the upcoming live-action film Look Back, directed by celebrated Japanese director Hirokazu Kore-eda. Kore-eda is known for directing award-winning films such as Nobody Knows and Shoplifters.
