Grayscale files for Worldcoin ETF as WLD price breaks higher

Grayscale plans to launch a new exchange-traded fund (ETF) called the Grayscale Worldcoin ETF, which will be listed on Nasdaq with the symbol GWLD. This ETF would allow investors to gain exposure to the WLD cryptocurrency without actually needing to purchase and hold the token themselves.

According to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Circle President Heath Tarbert has sold approximately $30.8 million worth of company stock since June 2025. These sales were made through a pre-planned trading program, not as spontaneous decisions. Despite the sales gaining some notice, Tarbert still owns a significant amount of Circle stock, primarily in the form of restricted stock units. Meanwhile, investment firm ARK Invest has been buying more Circle shares as the stock price has recently decreased.
