Aussie Shore star says she's a Jersey Shore superfan and reveals the cast were 'authentic' on the X-rated spin-off: 'Times have changed'

As someone who grew up watching the original Jersey Shore and idolizing the OG cast members, I must admit that when I heard about Aussie Shore, I was skeptical. I thought there was no way it could compete with the legendary Meatballs, The Situation, and Pauly D. However, after experiencing the wild, rogue world of Aussie Shore firsthand, I can confidently say that this show is a whole new level of reality TV madness!

Catia Sinigaglia, who stars on the Australian version of “Shore,” admitted that as a child, she was an ardent fan of the original “Jersey Shore” series and felt her adult-oriented spin-off might not measure up.

The personal trainer, 23, took to TikTok over the weekend to give her ‘honest opinion’ on the Down Under version of the franchise.

On her bed with yesterday’s makeup still on, Catia declared that she and the Australian Shore cast truly showcased their genuine personalities during the initial season.

She started off by saying, “Let me tell you, I’ve been an avid Jersey Shore fan since I was about ten years old.

When I learned they were making an Australian version of Jersey Shore, I responded, “I don’t think it can compare to the original.

In simpler terms, ‘The Meatballs, The Situation, and DJ Pauly D are cultural touchstones for many. Personally, I don’t believe we’re aiming to rival them. Our offerings are distinctly unique.’

Times have changed so we’re completely different. But we were our authentic selves.’

She added: ‘So please try and be kind because we were just being our authentic selves, and if you hate us then I love you more.’

As a self-styled ‘Hot Mess’ and unabashed charmer, I found myself among the 11 vibrant residents of the Aussie Shore house, a reality TV show that was set against the picturesque backdrop of Cairns, Queensland.

Among the participants on I’m A Celebrity and Love Island, there’s Callum Hole, a star who has confessed that he was taken aback by certain events that unfolded within the house during production.

According to the Geordie Shore franchise, the Paramount+ series is known for being the “most explicit program” shown on Australian television.

The Love Island alum told The Project on Friday night that he’d never experienced anything like it.

Wow, things have been incredibly chaotic,” remarked the 26-year-old Welsh star. “As soon as I stepped inside, I was surprised by just how lively this group of Australians turned out to be.

‘Honestly, it was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before.’

As a devoted follower recounting the events, I can say that Callum shared his perspective about the cast’s energy being fueled by marathon drinking sprees lasting 12 hours and an overall wild, carefree atmosphere during our activities.

In Australian slang, is the term ‘rogue’ used? Does someone go ‘rogue’ there? Indeed, that was the case. Regardless of whether there’s any alcohol or not, as soon as you open your eyes in the morning, it’s non-stop action from beginning to end, he elaborated.

This reality TV show is unlike any I’ve worked on before because it doesn’t resemble a game show. Instead, there are no competition aspects involved. Unlike other shows, there’s no underlying pressure to excel or fear of being voted off by the audience.

Each day I rise, it feels as though reality TV sensation, Charlotte Crosby – a seasoned member of the Geordie Shore crew – pops into my room, exclaiming, “Tonight, you’re off to a boat party! Hurry, you’ve only got 30 minutes to get ready!

As the sun sets, I find myself reaching for a beverage, often marking the beginning of an evening that could last up to twelve hours. The atmosphere becomes increasingly lively as the night progresses, making for an unforgettable experience.

The series has already shocked viewers by showing explicit scenes of sex, full frontal nudity and a shocking ‘p**s transplant’.

Australian Coast represents the newest version of the popular reality TV series, Jersey Shore and Geordie Shore, which gained fame in the United States and the United Kingdom.

The alcohol-filled party show, shot in Cairns, Queensland, began with some of the most explicit scenes ever aired on Australian television history.

In this Australian beach-side residence, the residents will take on different roles within the city, all overseen by their supervisor Charlotte, aged 34, as they juggle work and leisure activities which include nightlife indulgences.

Aussie Shore is now streaming on Paramount+ with new episodes on Thursdays.
