As a retro-gaming enthusiast with over three decades of experience under my belt, I must say that Atari’s latest announcement has me absolutely “Berzerk” with excitement! The addition of classic titles like Berzerk, Sky Diver, and Desert Falcon to the Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration is a dream come true for us old-school gamers.


Today, Atari has unveiled the 19 timeless games they’ve incorporated into the latest DLC for “Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration“. These include multiple renditions of Berzerk, two distinct versions of Sky Diver, along with other popular titles such as Desert Falcon, Red Baron, and Destroyer.

The ‘The Wider World of Atari’ DLC has been expanded with a fresh timeline and eight video discussions. Among these are an in-depth focus on artist Evelyn Seto, the creative mind behind the renowned ‘Fuji’ Atari logo, as well as interviews – both old and new – from team members, enthusiasts, and independent developers.

You can pick up the new ‘The Wider World of Atari’ DLC for Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration standalone for $7.99/£6.69, or as part of the Expanded Edition DLC Bundle for $13.99/£11.74, or with the Atari 50 Digital Expanded Edition, which includes the base game and access to DLC 1 and 2 for $49.99/£41.74.
